Tourism environment was the main object of all kinds of tourism development and construction and tourism activities, which was affected by tourism development inevitably. How to minimize the impact on the tourism environment in tourism development and construction and tourism activities had always been an important issue in tourism research. As a new type of tourism, the study on the environmental impact of event tourism had been neglected, and theoretical research lagged behind practice, which seriously restricted the sustainable development of event tourism. This paper took the main event activities of Sheshan National Tourism Resort in Shanghai as the research object.Combination of field sampling and lab analysis, investigated the effects of tourism activities on factors such as soil, vegetation and water environment, and drawed the following conclusions:?1?Under the influence of event tourism activities, soil moisture content, bulk density, porosity, organic carbon and total nitrogen contents showed regular changes, while the conductivity and pH value was not obvious, and it was found that the changes of soil physical and chemical properties were common under different types of tourism activities. In addition, the spatial variation of soil moisture content, conductivity and organic carbon varied from different activity types to varying degrees.?2?Soil moisture content was the most sensitive to tourists'disturbance, and the change of scoring contribution rate indicated that different types of tourism activities were important factors affecting soil moisture content. The intensity of tourist gather, the length of holding period and the management of scenic spots were the main factors affecting the results of soil environmental impact assessment.?3?For the spatial impact of vegetation characteristics, the change of vegetation coverage, height, species number and index of vegetation integrity, decreased with the increase of distance from the trail gradually,in which the area with the most severe coverage reduction was concentrated in 06m,and the reduction rate is high50%-99%.?4?There was a clear linear relationship between vegetation cover, height, species number and vegetation integrity index, and the influence range of tourism activities on vegetation cover and height was large, while the vegetation species number and vegetation integrity was small.Vegetation height was a sensitive factor which was correlated with the intensity of trampling, the number of days and the distance between the sample and the trails significantly.?5?In terms of water environmental impact, the content of COD?NH3-N and TN in the festival increased significantly;after the festival, except for the COD content in the fishing area, which still exceeded the third-grade water quality standard, other water quality indicators were gradually reduced;the water quality targets after two weeks and one months after the festival were basically restored to the pre-festival standard, and the water quality has improved.?6?Catering?fishing activities easy to cause changes in COD;Leisure and recreational activities were more likely to cause do changes;compared with leisure tourism activities, recreational activities were more likely to cause significant changes in NH3-N and TN.
