A series of modified polyaniline?PANI?with superhydrophobic properties were prepared by combining the anticorrosive properties of polyaniline with superhydrophobicity.2-acrylamide-2-methylpropionic sulfonic acid?AMPS?containing sulfonic acid group was used as hydrophilic monomer and fluorinated hexafluorobutyl acrylate?F6BA?as hydrophobic monomer.Functional monomer glycidyl methacrylate?GMA?with an epoxy group or a long-chain alkyl monomer octadecyl acrylate?SA?was added to prepare a copolymer surfactant have a strong hydrophobic segment by solution polymerization.Then they were used as dopants in the process of preparing PANI by chemical oxidative polymerization and a series of PANI composites with superhydrophobic properties were prepared.The structure,morphology,element composition and wettability of GMA/PANI and SA/PANI characterized and tested are same by various characterization methods such as FT-IR,1H-NMR,etc.And it is applied to the anti-corrosion coating to improve its anti-corrosion performance:epoxy resin E-44 was used as the matrix resin to make it compound with the modified PANI.The relationship between the hydrophobicity of the product PANI and its corrosion resistance was studied in3.5%NaCl electrolyte solution by electrochemical workstation.The salt spray resistance of PANI/ER composite paint film sample was further tested by salt spray machine.The main work was divided into three parts:?1?AMPS containing sulfonic acid group was selected as hydrophilic end,fluorinated monomer hexafluorobutyl acrylate?F6BA?as hydrophobic end and glycidyl methacrylate?GMA?as the functional monomer,epoxy modified fluorine-containing terpolymer was prepared by solution polymerization to prepare a terpolymer surfactant containing epoxy group and having strong hydrophobic segment,and then used as a one-step chemical oxidation polymerization process for preparing PANI.The dopants were studied by the controlled variable method to discuss the effect of the epoxy group GMA monomer content on the polyaniline in the surfactant.The results of FT-IR and1H NMR measurements show that the surfactants have been successfully synthesized.And FT-IR,and crystallinity?XRD?tests show that GMA/PANI was successfully synthesized.SEM and water contact angle?CA?measurements show that when the molar ratio of AMPS to F6BA was 1:1 and the GMA content in the doped surfactant was 0.4 g,the product was 0.4-GMA/PANI.The surface roughness is the most uniform and not messy.There are uniform nano-scale small bumps,showing obvious rod-like structure and relatively loose,rod-like accumulation but no agglomeration,and PANI forms cross-linked structure,the corresponding hydrophobic performance is the best,CA can be up to 162.1degrees,showing superhydrophobicity.?2?AMPS as the hydrophilic end,F6BA as the hydrophobic end.A series of copolymer surfactants with various strong hydrophobic segments were prepared by solution polymerization with long chain alkyl hydrophobic monomer octadecyl acrylate?SA?.The surfactants were used as dopants in one-step chemical oxidation polymerization of PANI.The influence of SA long chain alkyl monomer content in surfactants on the hydrophobicity of polyaniline was studied and discussed by controlling variable method.The results of FT-IR and1H NMR show that the surfactants have been successfully synthesized.And FT-IR,and XRD tests show that SA/PANI was successfully synthesized.SEM and water contact angle?CA?measurements showed that when the molar ratio of AMPS to F6BA was 1:1 and the SA content in the doped surfactant was 0.8 g,the product was 0.8-SA/PANI.The SA/PANI composites have uniform surface roughness,uniform,smooth and obvious rod-like structure,and there is no agglomeration between PANI,and the rod-like structure of PANI is obvious and growing.The corresponding hydrophobicity is the best.CA can reach 163.4degrees,showing superhydrophobicity.?3?The superhydrophobic modified PANI prepared in parts 1 and 2 was mixed with epoxy ER to prepare superhydrophobic PANI/ER composite anticorrosive coatings.And coated on polished tinplate.The corrosion resistance and salt spray resistance of PANI/ER composite coatings were tested in 3.5%NaCl electrolyte solution.The results of electrochemical performance test show that the corrosion potential of 0.4-GMA/PANI coating and 0.8-SA/PANI coating correspond to the working electrode is the largest,the GMA series coating Ecorr=531 mV,the impedance value is 8.618×109?·cm2 and the anti-corrosion efficiency reaches 99.34%.while that of SA series coating Ecorr=-465 mV,the impedance value is 8.154×1010?·cm2,the radius of capacitance and arc resistance is the largest,and the anticorrosive efficiency is 99.73%.In the water resistance test of PANI/ER composite paint film,0.4-GMA/PANI/ER and0.8-SA/PANI/ER have the best water resistance,and their water absorption are0.9%and 0.8%respectively.For the salt spray test of GMA/PANI composite coating,it is also confirmed that the modified PANI composite coating has good corrosion resistance when the GMA content in the dopant is 0.4 g and the SA content is 0.8 g.Overtime,the corrosion resistance of the working electrodes corresponding to the two groups of superhydrophobic polyaniline/epoxy composite coatings has been reduced,but the reduction is small.
