With the continuous improvement of people's living standards,the basic material life has been unable to meet the needs of modern people's life,and people's awareness began to gradually rise to the extent of meeting needs of spiritual culture and artistic expression.In view of the current situation of domestic fashion design,it is a trend of the times to integrate Chinese traditional folk culture into fashion design,and it is also the demand of the development of Chinese fashion industry in the international fashion stage.As one of Chinese folk traditional handicrafts,Handan Wring Stage of Color Cloth is an important embodiment of traditional folk art.In 2008,it was listed as the second batch of national intangible cultural heritage.Artistic and technological features contained in it have profound cultural connotations and are excellent paradigms of folk traditional culture.Chinese traditional culture is worth digging and studying,therefore this paper takes Handan Wring Stage of Color Cloth as an example.Firstly,its historical evolution is elaborated,and then unique skills of molding,theme,color,and wring in wring stage of color cloth are generalized and summarized by means of searching bibliography and field research etc.Secondly,the present situation and trend of modern national leisure clothing are summarized,and then integrating point between Handan Wring Stage of Color Cloth and modern clothing design are explored by case analysis.Finally,the combination between costume designing and peculiar wring skills are flexibly applied in order to explore its feasibility in clothing design.Through the creation of a series of clothing works,innovation points of traditional skills in wring stage of color cloth in costume designing are interpreted,and at the end,it is showed up by costume works conformed modern aesthetics.Through the research of this paper,the development of folk traditional handicraft is prospected.Peculiar skills of wring stage of color cloth are combined with modern ethnic casual clothing,and costumes which are combined with national style and modern design can be worked out according to the fashion trend of modern clothing.It is a collision between traditional culture and modern fashion,and new inspirations and ideas for designing modern costumes are provided.By innovative researches of Hebei folk wring skills in modern costume designing,more attention is paid to this folk handicraft—wring stage of color cloth.So better inheritance and development are realized.
