Talking About The Use Of Traditional Chinese Folk Elements In Stage Costume Design

In recent years,many endangered folk crafts have been rescued,and many forgotten folk performances have returned to the stage.This thesis selected two dance works created by the traditional folk custom project in collaboration with choreographer students during the postgraduate period.Through the record of my design practice: from a first-time state-level non-material cultural heritage to across the field to find literature,from the design,overthrow,and the whole process of design to production process tracking and formal performance,doing everything they can to solve the problems.Folk art itself provides a rich source of inspiration for stylist,every moment is a creative process in "traditional" and "modern" balance,let these precious traditional elements reflect value in today's trend of The Times.Summarizing this practice,combining with three years' postgraduate study experience,the paper discusses the embodiment of traditional folk custom in stage costume design.
