In recent years,oil-repellent antifouling coating has attracted much attention and research due to its excellent self-lubrication,resistance reduction,anti-corrosion,anti-ice,anti-frost,anti-fouling and self-cleaning functions,as well as its application in automobile,medical and electronic fields,especially in the field of transparent optical and electronic instruments.In the past ten years,bioinspired self-healing materials have made great progress with the unremitting efforts of scientists all over the world.By integrating self-healing function into oil-repellent and anti-fouling coating,the service life of bioinspired self-healing materials can be greatly improved,the service stability can be improved,and the maintenance cost can be reduced.The purpose of this paper is to prepare an artificial self-healing multi-functional oil-repellent coating through the collaborative self-healing function into the oil-repellent coating,which mainly includes the following two aspects:In the second part of the paper,healable oil-repellent antifogging films are fabricated by layer-by-layer assembly of hyaluronic acid(HA)and branched poly(ethylenimine)(bPEI),followed by immersion in the aqueous solutions of perfluorooctanesulfonic acid potassium salt(PFOS).The loading of PFOS endows the HA/bPEI films with oil repellency while maintaining its original hydrophilicity.The resulting films have an excellent antifogging ability,and various organic liquids can easily slide down the slightly tilted films(<10°)without any residue.Through water-assisted migration of PFOS and polyelectrolytes,oil-repellent antifogging films are able to repetitively and autonomously recover their damaged oil repellency and transparency caused by plasma etching,cutting,or scratching,prolonging their life span.The as-developed healable oil-repellent antifogging films have potential application as antifingerprint coatings for touch screens,antismudge coatings for signs and shop windows,and antifogging coatings for lenses,mirrors,and windshields.In the third part of the paper,transparent oil-repellent coatings with thermally assisted healing ability are fabricated using 1H,1H,2H,2H-perfluorodecanethiol(PFDT)grafted 1,2-polybutadiene(PB)by bar coating technology or spraying technique.The PFDT endows the resulting coatings with a “liquid-like” surface,and thus various liquids with a wide range of surface tensions can readily slide off the coatings without leaving any residue.Due to its excellent oil-repellent,PB-g-PFDT coating shows excellent anti-smudge ability.Brushes with black ink and blue paint can easily infiltrate the pure glass substrate,while the glass substrate coated with PB-g-PFDT only leave tiny blots of ink.In addition,because PB-g-PFDT coating has excellent oil-repellent,the coating also shows good anti-fingerprint.Through thermally assisted surface reorientation or migration of polymer,transparent oil-repellent coatings can repetitively healed their damaged oil-repellent ability and transparency caused by oxidation or cutting/scratching,thus greatly extending their life.In addition,the PB-g-PFDT coating can also be used on cotton fabrics apart from flat substrates,resulting in superamphiphobic fabrics that are capable of repetitively healing their oxidation-damaged superamphiphobicity at an elevated temperature.
