China's second-child policy has brought about a new "baby boom",which has led to a sharp increase in demand for children's products,especially the huge potential of the toy market.Play is the theme of children's life,and toys are the partners of children's growth.From the perspective of cognitive psychology,this paper aims to explore the role and influence of toys on children's growth,to study the characteristics of children's growth and toys' proper characteristics from the psychological level,and to meet the needs of children's intellectual development,and finally to complete the relevant design work of children's alpina toys.In the course of this research,through the methods of observation,interview and questionnaire survey,this paper analyzed the physiological,psychological and behavioral characteristics of children aged 3-6,summarized the law of children's cognitive development,and explored the psychological needs of toys in the process of children's growth and intellectual development.Through the investigation and analysis of relevant competitors in the existing toy market,the characteristics of similar products are extracted,and the design principles of children's educational toys are put forward.Through residential survey,enumeration of the shortcomings of hope points,induction and summary and other research methods,this paper explores the changes and rules of children's perception,attention,memory and thinking,analyzes the user needs of children's educational toys,and plans the functions of children's educational toys.Target groups are selected purposefully to conduct user research,focusing on the core characters-children,main characters-preschool teachers and parents,and forming a specific persona model.Combining factors such as gender,family structure,environment and daily life,the orientation of design elements of puzzle toys was clarified,the design practice was guided,and the product design work of "crazy labyrinth" was completed.This topic takes children as the main body,based on the growth needs of children,goes deep into the cognitive psychology level,and explores the design of children's toys.Relying on previous studies,the design works pay attention to the needs of children's intellectual development,improve children's attention and interest,and increase the interaction between people in the game,which is a useful attempt.
