The Study Of Composting Effect Using Crop Residue And Livestock Manure

Livestock manure and crop straw are agricultural residue which content abundant nutrient elements such as carbon,nitrogen and phosphorus that plants and crops need.Using composting technic could turn the agricultural residue into organic resources.However,the majority of composting studies usually focus on using single material to compost.Also these studies only concerned about the process of composting but ignored that different materials could cause different results.In this experiment,we chose two kind of agricultural straws(corn straw and rice husk)and two kind of livestock manure(cow dung and chicken dung).Setting four treatments(chicken dung with rice husk)(cow dung with rice husk)(chicken dung with corn straw)(cow dung with corn straw)which used single agricultural strew to every single livestock manure together to start composting at 30/1 rate of C/N and water content at 60%.Testing various of indexes including temperature,water content,pH and EC during the composting and analysing physicochemical indexes such as TC,TN,C/N,TP,TK and GI after composting to make sure that the composting product meets the standards.And we applied the product on perennial ryegrass to find out the potential and value of these composting products.Finally,the study shows that the treatment using "corn straw with chicken dung"and "corn straw with cow dung" are better in aspects of composting completeness.Plus."crow straw with chicken dung" and "crop straw with cow dung" treatments get higher TOC and N+P2O5+K2O than other treatments.The ration is 57.90%,7.13%and 56.97%,10.42%.In the application experiment,treatment 2,treatment 3 and treatment 4 promoted the germination rate and biomass of ryegrass above the ground and their biomass is 5.43g,7.57g,6.67g which higher than CK.So these treatments are good for composting induction.
