New Chinese Style Furniture Design Based On Constructivism Theory

The concept of "New Chinese" is rooted in traditional culture and is a contemporary interpretation of Chinese traditional culture.It is mainly used in home decoration and furniture design.Understanding it will involve two sets of keywords:traditional and contemporary.After a corresponding comparative study,it is not difficult to find that whether it is the design method or the interpretation of ideas,or even the interpretation of the works in terms of visual and functional,the new Chinese style is inextricably linked with the constructivist theory derived from the West.contact.In other words,from some perspectives,the new Chinese design is also the application and endorsement of constructivism in the home decoration design of contemporary Chinese traditional style.As an application research that serves design style,this case starts with the analysis of the connotation and extension of constructivism,focusing on the collection and combing of its basic theories,especially the research methodology,and trying to apply it to the design of new Chinese furniture.Second interpretation.The main research contents include:the basic outline of seeking constructivism.At the same time,the basic concepts of new Chinese furniture design are summarized,and the two are compared and connected to explore the operability grafting.The research focuses on the mining of the commonalities of the two,trying to define the similarities,correlations and similarities between the two and explain them accordingly.In addition,it also provides an auxiliary collection of the application of constructivism in other design-related fields to emphasize the universality and feasibility of its integration into various types of design.In terms of research and practice,relying on the series of corresponding furniture design projects completed in the new Chinese style in recent years,combined with the method of on-site investigation of furniture stores,exhibitions and furniture manufacturers.After comparative analysis,it is found that the current new Chinese design still lacks systematic theoretical guidance,and there are still a lot of spaces to be filled in the basic research.This frees up space for the study of new Chinese furniture design and constructivism theory.The urgency and necessity of the study were ensured.For the practical and empirical design projects,the analysis of the three series of design schemes has been given,covering a set of tea room space design and two series of living room space accessory product design cases.The whole design process includes design front end and environment construction.(Research and analysis,design positioning).Therefore,the feasibility and effectiveness of constructive theory applied to the design of new Chinese furniture design are illustrated by examples.The methodology also has clear reference and guiding value for the new Chinese design.In general,this paper demonstrates the modern view that constructivist theory is suitable for the design of new Chinese furniture,and hopes to derive some basic theories and design methods.I even hope that it can provide new ideas for the inheritance and development of traditional culture,and also provide reference and reference for future research projects on constructivism and new Chinese furniture design.
