Associated kaolin would affect coal flotation while coal are symbiotic or associated kaolin A series of problems of low yield,high ash coal,and the reduction of flotation efficiency caused by associated kaolin.In the view of this problem this paper selected Linxi coal preparation plant as the research object.A series of studies carried out for the slime included the research of coal quality characteristics,experimental research for flotation,experimental research for cyclone classification and kaolin purification.Paper aimed to improved the efficiency of the flotation slime,to improve the yield of clean coal in coal ash meet certain condition and to recover purified slime associated kaolin.Test main work were as followsUsing X-ray diffraction to analyz the coal slime,the content of kaolinitc up to 70.80%in the gangue minerals.By the analysis of slime flotability rating that belonged extremely difficult choice.Through the ups and downs and screening test of flotation concpntrate perforued to determine the grinding desliming flotation process.With the process n.coal ash meet the conditions coal yield increased 5.65%,end coal ash increased to 70.63%and flotability level improved from extremely difficult election to medium optionalSlime was taken a series of hydrocyclones grading.The content of SiO2 as low as 49.89%and Al2O3 content reached the naximum for 36.34%in?10 mm hydrocyclone overflow.Al2O3 and SiO2 content had reached two kaolin for paper requirements.Experiment of ?150 mm ?75 mm ?50 mm hydrocyclone underflow products was studied on mixed fi(?)on show that the clean coal yield was 33.65%when the ash was 10.72%than direct slime flotation 2.75%(yield difference).The combustible recovery increased to 57.20%and floating level improved from extremely difficult to di fficult selectedThe exPermient of dccolorization whitening research and calcining research on ?10 mm hydrocyclone overflow product showed that the FeZO3 content of bleached concentrate was 0.97%and had meeted the requirements of three grade kaolin for paper.The calcinated whiteness was 86.71%,so whiteness wae close to two calcined grade kaolin for paper requirements...
