In this study,reduced iron powder,activated carbon powder,rare earth element cerium,catalyst,pore-forming agent and binder were mixed and granulated in a certain proportion and made into Ce-Fe/C composite material at a specific temperature to treat molasses alcohol wastewater.The optimum preparation conditions of Ce-Fe/C composites were determined by single factor experiment and BBD combined with response surface optimization experiment,and through SEM,XRD,FTIR and XPS of Ce-Fe/C composites have been characterized,at the same time examines the Ce-Fe/C composite material optimum process conditions of molasses alcohol wastewater treatment,and compared with other process research,in addition of molasses alcohol COD degradation kinetics and reaction mechanism are discussed.The experimental results show that:(1)The Ce-Fe/C composite material preparation of single factor experiment preparation parameters:get the best quality of Fe/C ratio of 5:1,rare earth element cerium adding amount was 7%,the adhesive quality percentage is 20%and calcination temperature is 900 ?,thus the Ce-Fe/C composites to molasses alcohol wastewater treatment,chroma removal rate reaches 96.83%,the removal rate of COD was 72.04%.(2)Optimum conditions for preparation of Ce-Fe/C composites were obtained by BBD combined with response surface optimization experiments,Fe/C mass ratio was 5.08:1,rare earth element cerium added the weight is 7.25%and calcination temperature is 895 ?,the optimization under the best conditions of preparation of Ce-Fe/C composite material to molasses alcohol wastewater treatment,chroma removal rate reaches 96.97%,the removal rate of COD was 72.14%.(3)Doped with rare earth element cerium effective to the lattice of Fe/C material,and the Fe/C material the particulate matter in the formation of a solid solution,the solid solution strengthening,and the Fe/C material formed by the grain size of complex compound particles,stop the grain boundary migration,achieve the goal of grain refinement,grain in the Fe/C material dispersion,thus increasing the specific surface area of Fe/C materials.(4)In 100 mL of molasses alcohol wastewater,regulate the pH value of 6,add 10 g Ce-Fe/C composite material,in normal temperature down in HY-5A cyclotron oscillator at a rate of about 90 r·min-1 on the shock response of 180 min,the optimal process condition,the chroma and COD removal rate of wastewater effect is more ideal,chroma removal rate reached 98.81%,COD removal rate reached 75.69%.(5)By fitting analysis,the degradation kinetics of COD in molasses alcohol wastewater by Ce-Fe/C composite material basically conforms to the second-order reaction kinetics model,and the correlation coefficient is R2=0.9876.At the same time,the second-order attenuation kinetics of Ce-Fe/C composite material on COD degradation of molasses alcohol wastewater was fitted,and the correlation coefficient R2=0.9717.The fitting results were good,so as to better reflect the kinetic process of COD degradation of wastewater.
