Molasses Alcohol Wastewater is one of the high concentration unwieldiness organic liquid. It's chemical oxygen demand (COD) is as high as 120,000 mg/L. Wastewater containing a variety of organic substances conducive to microbial growth (high protein, carbohydrate, pectin, Vitamin), and wastewater also contains a lot of potassium. According to the main characteristics of the wastewater and experiments we can know that Biological Contact Oxidation (BCO) + Biological Aerated Filter (BAF) resources process molasses alcohol wastewater is feasible, using nutrients of the wastewater, recovery trainning microbial protein, using the choicing adsorption of zeolite to the K for separation and extraction K. The main results are as follows :1. BCO aerobic treatment process which can be effective in the removal of COD and recovery trainning microbial protein. Conditions: the temperature of 25 -30℃, hydraulic load of 3.0m3/ (m2.d), air-to-water ratio of 5:1; COD concentration of 5500-6500mg/L, pH value of 4-5. Result: COD removal rate can be maintained at 70%, a marked increase in ammonia content. Meanwhile, micro extraction can be achieved 4.61g/d;2. BAF aerobic treatment process which can be effective in the removal of NH3-N and gaining K. Conditions: hydraulic load of 3.0m3/ (m2.d), air-to-water rate of 3:1; COD concentration of 1500-1800mg/L, NH3-N concentration of 180-210mg/L, K2O concentration of 0.65-0.75g/L. Result: the removal rate of COD is about 15%, the removal rate of N and K are more than 95%. Meanwhile, in the conditions of hydraulic load of 1.0m3/ (m2.h), 1.0mol/L hydrochloric acid solution is effective in regeneration of saturated zeolite. The saturation zeolite will be able to resume normal function, the output of potassium (K2O) can be 3.5g/d;3. Comprehensive results, BCO+BAF process will be effective in the removal of COD and NH3-N from Molasses Alcohol Wastewater (COD removal rate is 70-85%, NH3-N removal rate is more than 95%). Meanwhile, effectively gain microbial protein and potassium. With the preliminary discussion of Zeolite Potassium Dynamics, the conclusion can be that the severance experiment result and the moves boundary model judgement conclusion to be consistent. The different potassium ion concentration, the mixing speed, the particle size and the temperature have the certain influence to the modified zeolite adsorption potassium ion dynamics.According to the above results and analysis, we can know that BCO+BAF resource treatment of Molasses Alcohol Wastewater is feasible.
