Abrasion refers to the phenomenon that the fabric is gradually damaged by repeated friction of other objects during use.At present,many surface modification methods such as sol-gel process,chemical vapor deposition and impregnation have been successfully used to develop many fabrics with excellent wear resistance.Although these modification methods can improve the wear resistance of fabrics,they still have the following disadvantages:the process of these modification methods is too cumbersome with high requirements,poor adhesion.In addition,these modification methods do great harm to other inherent excellent properties of the original fabric,such as water absorption,air permeability and softness,and do not meet the requirements of industrial production.In general the performance of organosilicon resin is excellent,ethanol as the solvent is relatively environmentally friendly,roller coating,impregnation,spraying,rolling and other methods can be coated,and the operation is simple.This thesis mainly aims at the deficiency of existing research on wear-resistant fabric,and combines fabric and coating to prepare wear-resistant fabric.The main content of this thesis is listed as the following:First of all,due to the large proportion of titanium boride particles themselves,large particle size and high surface polarity,they are easy to be adsorbed and agglomerated and collide under the action of gravity,resulting in large particle group settlement or settlement under the action of gravity.As a result,they have poor dispersion stability in general solutions and are difficult to be applied.Therefore,it is necessary to disperse the TiB2 in the organosilicon resin.The surface of TiB2 was modified with kh-550,kh-570 and PDADMAC to reduce the surface tension and improve the dispersion performance.Oleic acid,ethanol thickening powder and B-130 were used to solve the dispersion problem of TiB2 in silicone resin.The results show that:the dispersion stability of TiB2 modified by kh-550 and kh-570 in organosilicon resin was improved.The 3%kh-550 modified TiB2 settled slightly on the 9thh day and the 3%and 5%kh-570 modified TiB2 remained basically stable on the 9th day without any change in settlement volume.The dispersion stability of TiB2 modified by PDADMAC in the organosilicon resin was very poor.A good amount of B-130,oleic acid and ethanol thickening powder has a certain effect on the dispersion stability of TiB2 in the organosilicon resin.However,excessive oleic acid will reduce the viscosity of the coating,resulting in reduced dispersion stability.Excessive ethanol thickening powder and B-130 will increase the viscosity of the coating,greatly improving the dispersion stability,but it is not convenient for normal use.Therefore,10wt%oleic acid,0.25wt%ethanol thickener and0.25wt%B-130 can improve the dispersion stability of TiB2 in the solution of organosilicon resin.Secondly,the coating was applied to cotton fabric,polyester fabric and PP nonwoven fabric by solution impregnation method.The changes of wear rate and wear times of coated fabric were studied by using fabric wear tester.At the same time,whether the physical and mechanical properties,hydrophobic properties and thermal stability of the fabric change accordingly are observed,and the suitable fabric for application was chose.The results show that polypropylene fabric due to its own inertia,and organosilicon resin coating of the poor ability to bond,so the coating is not suitable for polypropylene non-woven fabric.The higher the content of organosilicon resin,the better the abrasion resistance of coated fabric,the tensile fracture strength first increases and then decreases,and the thickness of coated fabric first decreases and then increases.When the content of organosilicon resin is 25wt%and50wt%,the wear resistance of polyester fabric is much higher than that of cotton fabric.When the content of organosilicon resin is 75wt%and 100wt%,the increase of wear resistance of cotton fabric is greater than that of polyester fabric.Coated cotton fabric with 75wt%organosilicon resin has good hydrophobic property,and the contact angle is 143.4°.After 500times of friction contact angle is 133.2°,coated cotton can still reach the hydrophobic effect.Coated polyester fabric with 100wt%organosilicon resin has good hydrophobic property;and the contact angle is 152.1°.After 1000 times of friction,the hydrophobic property of coated polyester fabric with 25wt%,50wt%and 100wt%organosilicon resin content decreased significantly,and the 75wt%one decreased the least.Finally,according to the previous experimental results,it can be found that the organosilicon resin coating is suitable both for cotton fabric and polyester fabric.Therefore,orthogonal experiment was used to select the optimal scheme to study the influence of different coating amount on the properties of coated cotton fabric and polyester fabric.The results show that the optimal ratio of coated cotton fabric is as follows:when the ratio of organosilicon resin to anhydrous ethanol is 75:25 and the content is 93wt%,the content of dispersant is 1.5wt%,the content of ethanol thickener is 1.5wt%,and the content of TiB2 and TiC are 4wt%,the mass ratio is 1:2,the coated cotton fabric will form a coating layer with the best wear resistance.The optimal ratio of coated polyester fabric is as follows:when the ratio of organosilicon resin to anhydrous ethanol is 75:25 and the content is 93wt%,the content of dispersant is 1.5wt%,the content of ethanol thickener is 1.5wt%,and the content of TiB2 and TiC are 4wt%,the mass ratio is 2:1,the coated polyester fabric will form a coating layer with the best wear resistance.Different coating amounts have great influence on the properties of coated cotton fabric.With the increase of coating amount,the tensile breaking strength and bursting strength of coating fabric first increased and then decreased,the tearing strength gradually decreased,the wear resistance increased,the wear rate decreased,the thermal stability improved,the adhesion of the coating increased,and the thickness basically remained unchanged.For cotton fabric,when the coating amount is 30 g/m2,the friction is1500 times,the wear rate is only 1.5%,and the wear times reach about 2000 times.After frictionating 1500 times,the contact angle is still above 100°.For polyester fabric,when the coating amount is 15 g/m2,the friction is 3000 times,the wear rate is only 1.9%,and the wear times reach about 4000 times.After frictionating 3000 times,the contact angle is still above100°.
