Printing is a particularly important process in the production of textiles.It not only provides consumers with colorful products,but also provides a wide and diverse market for textile applications.In addition to traditional daily necessities,it is printed in terms of personalization.It also gradually shows irreplaceable value.However,the printing industry has existed for a long time.From the perspective of overall development,the traditional printing process inevitably reveals some shortcomings in the long-term production process,such as long process flow,large amount of sewage,complicated operation procedures,etc.At the same time,digital printing has grown rapidly with its simplicity,high-speed and environmental friendliness.The application of digital printing on various types of textiles is increasing day by day,which leading a new trend of printing.Although there are many digital printing methods and types,there are few digital printings applied on polyester/cotton fabrics.Because the fiber blending characteristics of polyester/cotton fabrics make it better to finish printing with coating ink,but coating inks often have problems such as poor color vividness and saturation,easy permeation,and poor rubbing fastness in the printing process.Therefore,how to improve the coating ink's digital printing quality of polyester/cotton fabric has become the key to developing and applying coating ink's digital printing of polyester/cotton fabric.This article mainly studies the effects of fabric tightness,type and concentration of pretreatment agent,baking temperature and time after printing on the quality of digital printing of polyester/cotton fabrics.In order to study the relationship between fabric tightness and digital printing quality,this paper selects four kinds of polyester/cotton fabrics with different fabric tightness for digital printing,then making analysis of the printing results.The results show that the higher tightness of the fabric,the higher color depth of the fabric and the better color vividness of the pattern after digital printing,but the rubbing fastness get worse.In order to study the effect of the type and concentration of pretreatment agents on the quality of digital printing,three kinds of pretreatment agents,cationic FIC-1,anionic FIY-2 and nonionic FNI-3,were selected,and each pretreatment agent treats the fabric at different concentrations.Then the fabric is digitally printed after drying.The printing performance test results show that the quality of the fabric printing changes after different pretreatment agents,but the three types of pretreatment agents have their own advantages and disadvantages.FIC-1 is optimal in terms of the color depth of the fabric,the vividness of the pattern,and the sharpness.In terms of the rubbing fastness of the fabric,FIY-2 and FNI-3 have better treatment effects.In terms of hand,the fabric is softer after FIC-1 treatment.The test also proved that the optimum treatment concentrations of FIC-1,FIY-2 and FNI-3 are 5%,2% and 1.5%.In order to make the printed fabric have not only a certain color depth,color vividness and sharpness,but also good rubbing fastness and softness,the test proposes three pretreatment improvement schemes.Scheme A uniformly mixed 2.5% FIC-1 and 0.75% FNI-3 to treat the fabric.Scheme B is divided into three steps,first,treating the fabric with 2.5% FIC-1;second,drying the fabric in a 100 °C oven;third,treating the fabric with 0.75% FNI-3.Scheme C treated the fabric with a new cationic pretreatment agent,FNI-4.The result of digital printing proves that the scheme A is optimal.After the fabric is pretreated by the scheme A,first,the printing pattern has high definition and color vividness;second,the wet rubbing of printed fabric can reach 3-4 grades;third,the fabric has strong shear recovery ability,good bending and deformation recovery ability.In order to study the effect of different baking temperatures and times on the digital printing.After the digital printing,the fabrics were baked at different temperatures and different times.The test proves that the fabric have the highest color fastness when the baking temperature is 190? and the baking time is 60 s.
