Research On The Aesthetic Characterstics Of Modern Wood-Fired Ceramic Works

We can call the firing method of firing the green body with at a high temperate wood as fuel to achieve the vitrified effect under circumstance of complete structure of the kiln as wood firing.The wood firing can be divided into traditional and modern wood firing.The modern wood firing culture is the inheritance and innovation of traditional wood firing culture.The essential difference between the two lies in the different embodiment of personal value.This paper mainly gives a discussion to the aesthetic characteristics of modern wood fired ceramic works.In this paper,the traditional wood fired ceramic is taken as the starting point of the research.It is considered that it not only contains the historical aesthetic precipitation,but also shows the aesthetic practice of presence.Then it is followed by the aesthetic object.The aesthetic characteristics of modern wood fired ceramic works are explored from the features of modern wood firing in this paper.This paper is divided into six parts.In the introduction part,the necessity of the research on the aesthetics of modern wood fired ceramic works is clarified by explaining the realistic dilemma faced by China's modern wood firing.The first two parts of the paper belong to the category of introduction.The third part classifies Chinese and foreign traditional wood firing and expounds its characteristics.The fourth part gives an explanation to the characteristics of modern wood firing,namely,the personalization and environmental awareness of the kiln design,the experience of the firing curve and atmospheres,and the flexibility of subjective experience.In the fifth part,the aesthetic characteristics of modern wood fired ceramic works are summarized according to the characteristics of modern wood firing.It is believes that modern wood fired ceramic works emphasize the sense of experience and participation,as well as respect for the process and incidental.The sixth part is to explain the further development direction of China's modern wood firing.This paper aims at probing into the aesthetic value orientation of modern wood fired ceramic works in the context of modernization,exploring the development path of modern wood firing in combination with investigation and practice,and exploring the essence of beauty in a broader context.It is expected that the expression language of modern ceramic art can be expanded to improve the theoretical system of modern ceramic art,with a view to providing specific theoretical guidance for the future diversified development and trend of ceramic art.
