In the work process,the rear conveyor of the continuous miner often swings up and down,left and right.And due to the narrow underground tunnel,personals entering the proximity of the conveyor or working in this area might result in injury or mortality accidents because of not timely avoidance or conveyor swing found.This poses a major potential safety hazard.Therefore,Based on the above problem,the paper designs the continuous miner personnel monitoring system to improve the safety of workers near continuous miner,while helping to improve the security of roadway mining.Firstly,analyzed the actual working condition of the 12CM15 continuous miner and the action mechanism of the rear conveyor,this paper takes the infrared thermal imaging technology as the core and puts forward the design scheme of the continuous miner personnel monitoring system based on the embedded processing module and the human detection algorithm.Secondly,this paper designs and analyzes the electronic control part of the continuous miner personal monitoring system including infrared detection unit,integrated control processing terminal and man-machine interaction module,and analyzes the stability of the system by MATLAB simulation software.Inferred that the system has positive phase margin and magnitude margin,so the system is stable;Then,according to the special environment in the coal mine,the paper processes the down-hole infrared image and uses the forgetting factor method to extract the background for the down-hole infrared image,and detects the down-hole human target by the morphological calculation.Finally,the paper carries out the laboratory experiments,workshop experiments and coal mine field experiments on the continuous miner personnel monitoring system,though the results of experiments,the paper optimizes the structure of the continuous miner personnel monitoring system to ensure the rational design of the continuous miner personnel monitoring system.This paper designs and studies a kind of continuous miner personnel monitoring system which can realize the real-time monitoring of the left front of the rear conveyor of the continuous,through the system scheme design,the electronic control part design and the infrared image processing technology.It realizes the all-weather real-time monitoring of the left area of the rear conveyor of the continuous miner,which can identify the personnel who enter in the monitoring area and quickly make protective measures to ensure the safety of the lives of the underground personnel and prevent coal mine safety accidents which are caused by the conveyor of the continuous miner.The research of the project will help improve the safety of underground personal work,help the improvement of coal mine roadway automation level and the safety production level of coal mines,and provide an important guarantee for the development of China’s coal industry in the new time.
