The quality of automobile tires will seriously affect the driving performance,comfort and safety of vehicles.Tires is vulcanized in the tire mould.The temperature distribution of the mold cavity during vulcanization has a great influence on the heating process and vulcanization degree of the tire,and determines the final performance of the tire.In this paper,using finite element analysis software ABAQUS,taking Y1188 shell 12.00R20 tire mold as the research object,the structure of conical tire mold was improved by heat transfer simulation and tire vulcanization analysis.The research results will provide theoretical guidance for tire and tire mould manufacturers to produce better tires.The main contents of this paper include the following aspects:Firstly,this paper clarifies the background and significance of the research,understands the current situation and future development trend of tire mold,and briefly introduces the tire mold,determines the main research content of this topic,and makes some preparations for the next research.Secondly,in ABAQUS software,the three-dimensional thermal simulation model of tire mold is established,and the structure and opening and closing process of conical tire mould are introduced.The heat transfer of 9.00R20 and 12.00R20 tire mould are analyzed,and the rules of heat transfer process are summarized.The heat transfer analysis is compared with the inclined plane tire mold of the same specification commonly used in enterprises,and then make a conclusion.The structural characteristics of the two tire molds and the technical requirements of tire vulcanization were analyzed.The advantages and disadvantages of the two tire molds in tire vulcanization performance were analyzed.Thirdly,the structure of the conical tire mould is designed in an integrated way,changing the angle of the bow seat,the structure of the base slide,the position of the wear-resistant plate in the bow seat and the air chamber of the middle sleeve.the structure of the tire mold is found out with the scheme that the temperature difference of the symmetrical point of the pattern block is obviously reduced and the production cost of the enterprise can be reduced without affecting the curing quality of the tire.Fourthly,the three-dimensional solid model of patterned block tire is built,and the smooth tire model of tire is vulcanized in the mold with striped tire and block tire.The temperature field changes in different parts of the tire during vulcanization ofsmooth tire,striped tire and block tire are analyzed and compared,and the trend of temperature changes at each temperature measuring point is analyzed,and the influence of tire pattern on tire vulcanization is analyzed.The simulation is closer to the actual condition of tire vulcanization,which provides a theoretical basis for tire enterprises to formulate tire vulcanization process and improve the quality of tire vulcanization.
