The purpose of this scientific research work is to establish a comprehensive index system model suitable for rural road traffic safety evaluation.Its significance is to improve the safety of rural roads by adopting appropriate improvement measures in areas where the road safety in rural areas is found to be imperfect after safety evaluation and analysis.Although the current regulations make provisions for tertiary roads,they are still unsuitable for current rural roads in terms of their indicators.For example,the design speed limit is 40km/h,but there are no shortages of 30km/h and 20km/h in rural roads.The section of the road,and the main consideration of the specification is the rapid traffic flow of roads above level two.This paper selects indicators for the lowspeed traffic flow characteristics of rural roads on low-grade highways,and evaluates them in conjunction with project entities.The results are in good agreement and can be used for traffic safety evaluation of rural roads.It can be found that there are no roads in the highway.The rationality provides a theoretical basis for traffic improvement.The idea of this scientific research work is that everything starts from the reality and goes into practice.The evaluation of rural road traffic safety is to evaluate rural roads,so indicators of their evaluation must be targeted.For this reason,the research method of this paper is to understand the rural road traffic safety situation in a targeted manner,to propose traffic safety evaluation indicators suitable for rural roads,and finally to propose an appropriate index synthesis method for the current talent structure in rural areas.A set of comprehensive indicators system model for rural highway traffic safety evaluation.In order to verify the practicability of the model,a case study was conducted on a rural road in a certain place in Hubei.Finally,the results of the evaluation are analyzed and it is found that the evaluation results are in good agreement with the road safety and the reliability of the model is verified.First of all,this paper has done a lot of investigation and analysis of rural road traffic accidents in the early stage of the drafting.Based on this,it has classified the causes of a small number of traffic accidents caused by road causes and finally arrived at several types of road causes that are universal.After analyzing these reasons,we have obtained improvement measures that can reduce the occurrence of similar accidents.Based on these improvement measures,an indicator system that can evaluate the safety of rural road traffic was proposed,and these indicators were specifically formulated and graded to prepare for the later comprehensive evaluation.After obtaining these indicators,the index synthesis algorithm was used to weight the indicators separately,and a comprehensive evaluation system was obtained.Secondly,using the engineering examples to analyze the road sections to get the scores of various indicators,multiplying the evaluation indicators and the weights respectively and then adding them to get a comprehensive evaluation.The score values are sorted according to the size and compared with the actual road conditions and traffic facilities.Yes,discuss its rationality.Finally,the results are obtained: The model is suitable for evaluating the safety of rural road traffic.The achievements of this scientific research work are as follows: 1.The type of rural roa traffic accidents with general road causes has been summarized.In this paper,the data of major road traffic accidents that occurred in recent years have been collected,and the road accidents of rural roads have been singled out,and the road alignment,traffic environment,and causes of accidents have been thoroughly analyzed.Based on this classification,a number of high-profile rural road accident types were concluded.Second,a rural road traffic safety evaluation index system was proposed.This article analyzes the types of accidents mentioned in the first section and proposes measures that can reduce and prevent the occurrence of such traffic accidents.Based on this,it proposes an index system for evaluating the safety of rural road traffic.Third,the entropy method was introduced as a weighting method.This paper takes into account the actual situation of the talent structure in rural areas and proposes an objective weighting method as a comprehensive indicator.Fourth,the project examples were evaluated.This article has carried on the excavation to the construction drawing design document of a certain project of Hubei,has carried on the examination according to the index mentioned in the second chapter to the situation of several dividing road sections,and has carried on the comprehensive processing according to the method mentioned in the three to obtain the comprehensive evaluation result.Conclusion: The evaluation methods obtained in this research work are suitable for the evaluation of traffic safety on rural roads;they are reliable and can truly reflect the traffic safety status of the roads.
