With the clean fuel specifications is becoming more and more strict,the sulfur recovery unit has become a supporting unit in the refinery is indispensable.This thesis introduces the development process of sulfur recovery process,expounds the important significance for the development of environmental protection.It also introduces the basic principle of Claus sulfur recovery process,influence factors,application and development the status of catalyst;introduces the significance and development status of tail gas treatment,the principle and characteristics of various gas treatment processes,and show a variety of ways to ensure the sulfur recovery unit exhaust emissions standards.Purification of the refinery sour water stripping partial discharge excess levels of ammonia in water,in order to make the emission of ammonia content in purified water standard,now by Aspen Plus software for simulating sour water stripping section,and convenient operating parameters of improved,now only the stripper operation parameters,such as hot cold,lateral line extraction amount at the top of the column can feed ratio,temperature and hot feed into the tower is optimized,and the analysis of the effect of these parameters on the ammonia purification water content,finally put forward the improvement measures and optimized scheme.RGibbs+REquil module is adopted in the combustion furnace,an important equipment for sulfur recovery.In order to simulate the complex reaction in the combustion furnace,the independent reaction in the combustion furnace is calculated and analyzed.In order to make the simulation more realistic,the transformation between sulfur molecules and the formation of sulphide were taken into account in the reaction.Aspen Plus software was used to simulate the whole process of sulfur recovery,and the corresponding model was established for each equipment.By comparing the simulation results with the actual situation,the success of the model was verified.The factors influencing sulfur recovery such as air ratio and furnace temperature are analyzed by software,and the optimization and improvement measures are proposed.The concentration of sulfur dioxide in the exhaust gas discharged from the sulfur recovery part has exceeded the relevant provisions of the environmental protection law,and the operation optimization of the sulfur recovery part can not solve the problem of exceeding the standard,so it is necessary to increase the exhaust gas treatment device for the sulfur recovery part.Through the selection and simulation of tail gas treatment process,it is found that,with SSR tail gas treatment process,the sulfur recovery rate of the whole device reaches99.6%,and the concentration of sulfur dioxide in tail gas meets the emissionrequirements.Finally,the structure of the hydrogenation reactor is designed,and the hydrogenation reactor is tested by water pressure.
