Sleep problem has become a "disease of the times",especially in the first and second-tier city workers.They often have symptoms such as falling pillow,cervical pain,snoring and insomnia,which lead to distraction,memory loss and other problems.These common problems are highly related to sleep pillow,but for most users,pillow height is a vague concept.They can only adjust the height according to their own feelings.With the rise of smart home,pillows that can recognize users' sleeping posture and automatically adjust the height of sleeping pillow appear in the contemporary bedroom.More components are needed in order to achieve accurate recognition of sleeping posture,which leads to high cost,and cost is the main obstacle for such products to enter the family bedroom.In order to solve the above problems,the theory of sleep comfort is firstly elaborated.Its contents mainly include the influence of users' sleeping habits on comfort,and the correlation between the height,material and shape of sleeping pillow and sleep comfort.From this,user research is carried out.Through user-centered design method,Using interviews,questionnaires and other methods to conduct research and Analysis on target users,the results of researches are modeled by the way of personas to clarify the target definition of assistive products for improving sleep comfort for office workers.Then,through scenario analysis,the explicit and implicit needs of target users are extracted and analyzed,its goal and requirement definitions map the product to guide the design of the whole sleeping pillow product and improve the sleeping comfort of users.On the technical level,through the research and analysis of users' sleeping habits,the characteristics of sleeping behavior of users who are accustomed to non-situ sleeping posture conversion are obtained.Based on these users,a simplified method of sleeping posture recognition is proposed.Only three pressure sensors are needed to recognize users' sleeping posture,which reduces the hardware usage of intelligent assistive devices and greatly reduces the cost.Finally,the sleep comfort of the sleeping pillow is evaluated from subjective and objective dimensions.The subjective sleep comfort is scored by subjective feeling.Theobjective evaluation is mainly evaluated by the pressure test system built to collect the pressure values of the head and neck pressure points.The results show that the simplified sleep position recognition method proposed in this paper is effective.
