Cotton fabrics are easy to wrinkle and shrink,affecting the appearance of the wear.It needs shrink-proof and wrinkle-resistant finishing.Common chemical finishing methods often lead to excessive formaldehyde content,yellowing of the fabric,and reduced tensile properties.In this study,in order to make the cotton fabric have a "washable and wearable" appearance,this paper explores a physical method of non-resin finishing by adding a certain proportion of memory polyester fibers in cotton fibers.Through the compact spinning process,the yarns of 11.8 tex and 8.4 tex were spun,and after the warp,sizing,and weaving process,the tribute satin was obtained,and the heat setting stage is carried out in the finishing stage of the fabric,that is,the fabric is subjected to a high temperature of 150 ?for 2 minutes.It can melt the surface of memory polyester fibers,effectively restrict the movement and stripping of cotton fibers in the yarn,thus improving the shrinkage and wrinkle resistance and pilling resistance of the fabrics,and making the products smoother,smooth,soft and wear-resistant.In addition,unlike conventional chemical finishing methods,this physical finishing method will not lead to fabric yellowing,formaldehyde excess and strength loss.In order to compare with five groups of test samples,three kinds of pure cotton satin bed fabrics with good sales and performance in the market were selected for test and comparison.In order to study the anti-shrinkage and anti-wrinkle mechanism of the new shrinkage and anti-wrinkle cotton blended fabric,the bond morphology between memory polyester fibers and cotton fibers was observed and the bond strength was tested by simulating the heat setting process at 150 ? and 2 min in the sintering furnace.It was found that the cortex of memory polyester fibers had melted.Because of the wax on the surface of cotton fibers,the bonding strength between memory polyester fibers and memory polyester fibers was about 5cN on average,but there was still slippage,and the strength needed for the slippage of bonding points between fibers was about 0.6-0.66 cN.The existence of multiple bonding points can control the movement of cotton fibers within a certain range,which can reduce the shrinkage of fabrics and improve the wrinkle recovery angle of fabrics.In addition,after dissolving cotton fibers from heat-setting yarn and non-heat-setting yarn respectively,theyarn can maintain good continuous shape.The strength test shows that the breaking strength of heat-setting yarn is higher than that of non-heat-setting yarn.It is further explained that memory polyester fibers produce morphological memory in the heat setting stage,which improves yarn strength.Finally,through the wrinkle recovery property test of the fabric,it is found that the average value of the total wrinkle recovery angle of the test sample is 219.3°,which is better than 190.4° of the contrast sample.Through the shrinkage property test of the fabric,it is found that the dimensional stability of the test sample in the warp and weft directions is not worse than that of the contrast sample in the warp and weft directions.In addition,by testing the anti-pilling property of the fabric,the positive and negative sides of the test sample are not less than 4 grades.Experiments show that the crease resistance,pilling resistance and dimensional stability of the new shrink-proof and wrinkle-resistant fabric have been significantly improved,and its strength is better.In addition,the fabric has soft and smooth handle,and can be widely used in the fields of guest matching,home textiles and garments.
