Tire building machine is a key equipment in tire manufacture,which assembles green tire of all semi-products from front process.Due to its being at the central during whole production,its production efficiency directly affects the efficiency of whole tire manufacture.This study figures out the three key points that affect tire building speed,which is capstrip winding?plying-up and drum shifting,and releases these bottlenecks via motion control curve optimization achieving the current decrease and velocity increase.This study has:1)Described the development status and current situation of tire building machine at home and abroad.2)Proposed to optimize the process with motion cam curve,studied the algorithm of 5~thh polynomial curve and modsin curve,and optimized the modsin curve,then embedded the algorithm into bottleneck of machine running via code programming.3)Studied and figured out the key bottleneck,designed the architecture of hardware by Motion Analyzer and achieved the module programming for motion control system.4)Based on motion cam curve,studied how to achieve the synchronization startup in case of machine getting emergent stop to lost synchronized position,in order to improve productivity.5)Tuned these servo axes on the bottlenecks of this machine,recorded the key data during motion running,compared the advantage of product quality and machine velocity with conventional control.The mentioned solution in this article,which replaced conventional control with the motion curves,indicates that the bottlenecks of tire building machine have been released,so the entire machine velocity has been raised as well,which is quite significant to improve efficiency of entire tire manufacture process.
