Aiming at the problems of low machining precision and long machining cycle in the current micro-texture machining,this paper takes the typical pit-like texture and groove-like texture in bionic micro textures as the research object,a micro texture path planning method based on elliptical vibration assisted cutting technology is designed,the mathematical model of the biomimetic micro texture is established,the micro texture machining path compensation and the topography simulation on the rotary reference surface is researched.the finite element simulation of the micro texture machining process and the experiment of the elliptical vibration-assisted cutting for micro texture is carried out.The main contents and achievements of this paper are summarized as follows:(1)the mathematical model of the biomimetic micro texture is established.Based on the large number of pit structures on the head and back of the beetle,a mathematical model of the pit-like texture in the form of straight lines and fold lines is built.The size and shape analysis and drag reduction characteristics of the placoid scales structure on the surface of the shark skin were verified,the fitting and mathematical analysis of the groove are carried out by the least squares method,the mathematical model of the groove like texture is built.(2)A path planning method based on elliptical vibration-assisted cutting micro-texture is studied and designed.By establishing the correlation between the equiangular characteristics of the knife-point projection on the rotary reference surface and the constant resonance frequency of the resonant elliptical vibration assisted cutting device,the path planning method for the elliptical vibration machining micro-texture on the rotary reference surface is established,the path compensation improves the machining precision of the micro texture.Finally,the elliptical vibration assisted cutting topography simulation system is established to verify the machining path of micro-texture,and the influence of machining parameters on micro-texture topography is analyzed.(3)The finite element simulation of micro texture machining process is studied.By establishing the finite element model of the micro texture machining on the rotary surface,selecting the appropriate constitutive model,using the Fourier Series to apply the periodically elliptical vibration load to the boundary layer of the tool,the finite element simulation of the micro texture cutting is realized,the variation of cutting resistance and the instantaneous Mises stress distribution area in the cutting process is analyzed and studied,which provided reference for subsequent experimental machining.(4)An experimental verification platform for elliptical vibration assisted cutting micro-texture is built.By establishing the system of elliptical vibration assisted cutting micro texture and using the toric surface as the rotary reference surface,the micro-texture machining path verification experiment on the brass end face is carried out.The experimental results show that the micro texture machining path planning method designed in this paper has reached the expected goal.
