Metal-organic frameworks(MOFs)are periodic network structures,which are built by coordination interactions between metal nodes(metal ions or clusters)and organic linkers.They not only have the characteristic properties of the metal ions but also have the versatile functionalities of the organic ligands.There are many factors influencing the synthesis of MOFs,and suitable organic ligands and metal ions is very important.In this paper,8 novel complexes were synthesized by using two kinds of tripodal ligands 5,5',5"-(1,3,5-triazine-2,4,6-triyltriimino)tri-1,3-benzenedicarboxylic acid and,3,5-tris(1-imidazolyl)benzene.The structures of them were characterized,and their applicational properties were studied.The full text is divided into four parts:The first part is a brief introduction,including the concept of MOFs,the syntheses and applications of the MOFs,the background and experimental progress of the coordination polymers composed by tripodal ligands,and introduction the basis and significance of the study.In the second part,four new coordination polymers containing 5,5',5"-(1,3,5-triazine-2,4,6-triyltriimino)tri-1,3-benzenedicarboxylic acid,three kinds of N-containing ligands and transition metal ions have been successfully synthesized by solvothermal method,{[Zn8(TATAT)2(taz)4(Htaz)2]·4DMF·11lH2O}n(1),{[Cd4(TATAT)(?4-O)(taz)2(H20)]·DMF 9H20}n(2),{[Zn2(TATAT)(Im)][(CH3)2NH2]2}n(3).{[Zn2(TATAT)(mIm)][(CH3)2NH2]2}n(4),(H6TATAT=5,5'5"-(1,3,5-triazine-2,4,6-triyltriimino)tri-1,3-benzenedicarboxylic acid,Htaz=1,2,4-Triazole,Im=Imidazole,mIm=2-Methylimidazole).The synthesized coordination polymers have been characterized by single crystal X-ray diffraction,elemental analysis,IR spectroscopy,powder X-ray diffraction,and fluorescent spectroscopy.In the third part,four new coordination polymers based on 1,3,5-tris(1-imidazolyl)benzene,halogenated carboxylic acid,and transition metal ions have been successfully synthesized by solvothermal method;{[Cd(tib)(tctpa)(H2O)]·H2O}n(5),{[Zn(tib)(tctpa)(H2O)]·H2O}n(6),{[Zn(tib)(tftpa)0.5(H2O)]·(tftpa)0.5}n(7),{[Zn(tib)(dbtpa)0.5(H2O)]·(dbtpa)0.5}n(8),(tib=1,3,5-tris(1-imidazolyl)benzene,H2tctpa=tetrachloroterephthalic acid,H2tftpa=tetrafluoroterephthalic acid,H2dbtpa=2,5-dibromoterephthalic acid).These coordination polymers have also been characterized by the techniques mentioned above.The final section is the conclusion.
