With the advancement of coal mine information,precise positioning has become a trend of coal mine underground positioning.As the existing mine personnel positioning system mainly adopts regional positioning technology,there are some problems,such as inadequate positioning accuracy,poor anti-interference and penetration ability.Therefore,the research and application of the UWB-based coal mine personnel positioning system has significant practical meaning for coal mine safety production and emergency rescue.On the basis of the research status of mine personnel system and UWB technology at home and abroad,this paper adopts the localization technology based on ranging.The Symmetric Double Side Two-Way Range(SDS-TWR)algorithm was selected through the in-depth analysis of the UWB ranging error characteristics,which eliminates the clock synchronization error and suppresses the timing error caused by the clock frequency offset.Aiming at the problem that the non-line-of-sight(NLOS)interference in wireless ranging has poor ranging accuracy,the traditional Kalman filtering is improved.The NLOS error is added to the state vector for estimation,and the two-step Kalman filter is used to suppress it,which achieves the effect of significantly improving the ranging accuracy.T hen,on the basis of the ranging model and ranging method,a mine personnel positioning algorithm based on the combination of weighted least squares(WLS)and improved adaptive Kalman filter(IAKF)is proposed,which makes the positioning tag complete the positioning within the communication range of the base station.The experimental results show that the proposed algorithm has smaller positioning error and higher stability of positioning results.in NLOS.Under the support of the above-mentioned ranging technology and positioning method,the design of the overall structure of the positioning system,the realization of the hardware circuit of the base station and tag node,the writing of the underlying driver code and the development of the Web background management system are completed.Finally,the functions of positioning tracking,attendance management,and alarm management were tested.After testing,the system runs stably,the positioning accuracy is high,and it has good practicability.The research of personnel positioning system in underground coal mine based on UWB can complete the precise positioning of mine personnel,and achieves the goals of the design.It can effectively improve the safety production management of coal mines,and has a good application prospect.
