In recent years,the contradiction between supply and demand of energy shortage in China has become increasingly severe,so it is very important to make efficient use of existing energy.Moreover,China is a traditional large country of coke production and consumption,and there has always been the problem of low utilization efficiency of coke oven exhaust,which has caused a great waste of non-renewable energy and serious damage to the ecological environment.Making methanol from coke oven gas is an effective attempt to make efficient use of coke oven gas at present.As a demonstration project of reducing production capacity and improving quality and increasing efficiency of baotou iron and steel group co.,LTD.,its successful operation has brought benefits,providing a new direction for extending the industrial chain of enterprises and broadening the new economic growth point of enterprise development.Author according to the actual situation of their own work,the unit of the new coke oven gas,methanol process are briefly introduced,and based on the control system research and design process of the distillation process,through reading the relevant literature,made clear the related factors influencing the distillation process,combined with the control requirement of the production process,to determine the whole control scheme of the production process.Based on the analysis of the technological process of coke oven gas producing methanol and three-tower double-effect rectification,the author selected the latest version CENTUM VP R5.02 of YOKOGAWA company's distributed control system to realize the centralized monitoring,real-time alarm of the main parameters of the production process and the recording of production and management data,so as to reduce human intervention and improve the level of equipment automation and production modernization.This paper gives a brief overview of YOKOGAWA CENTUM VP control system,including system structure,overall hardware configuration,network configuration,card classification and so on.And combined with the main control requirements of the control block of some software editing,including real-time monitoring and control of production indicators,the accumulation and correction of the main flow,the safety of the middle tank interlock protection and the control of the key parameters edit,etc.At present,the unit's coke oven gas methanol production project has been put into production,in the actual operation process,the control scheme can achieve the automatic control of the production process,to meet the established control requirements,the production of refined methanol products after analysis belongs to the industrial excellence.Moreover,the operators can easily monitor and control the process parameters on site remotely and in real time,which meets the requirements of the stability of chemical production and the safety of personnel and equipment.
