The Research Of Han Nationality Traditional Costume Beizi In Song Dynasty

Beizi,a kind of costume well-accepted among Han nationality in Song Dynasty,has typical dressing style of the symmetrical top fly,the vent and so on.Taking it as the starting point,the author,after reviewing the literature and exploring relevant statues,carves and paintings of various dynasties,expounds that Beizi is featured with fashion cultures of Han nationality and northern nomadic minorities.As a representative traditional clothing of Han people in Song Dynasty,on the one hand,in the cultural context of admiring the dressing code of ancient times,Beizi shaping the image of slender,dignified,slim and delicate female,conforms to the aesthetics of advocating restraining and delicacy at that time;on the other hand,its style of the symmetrical top fly,the vent,the suitable cutting and the narrow sleeves,etc.is in line with some features of fashion culture of northern nomadic minorities,such as the tight waistline and the low-cut neckline.As a result,after three significant revolutions of the traditional apparel,the dress culture featured with the integration,interaction and exchange of Hu and Han nationalities is endowed in Song Dynasty.In a word,Beizi is the traditional costume of the Han nationality after experiencing the first,the second and the third revolutions of integrating and absorbing the fashion culture of minorities.It is characterized with multi-ethnic dressing cultures.
