Research On Beizi Design In Song Dynasty

Bei Zi is the most popular dress style in Song Dynasty.Its dress is used by classes ranging from the cronies to the common people and its dress is passed down till now.The emphasis on traditional culture in modern society further highlights the importance of Beizi in traditional Chinese dress.This paper uses literature,unearthed tombs murals,images,paintings,physical data,on the basis of origin development,shape characteristics,patterns of Bei Zi material,with fashion design level of research,in-depth Bei Zi appeared and the cause of the popular in the song dynasty,through Bei Zi detailed map out the social scene of song dynasty.This paper is divided into six parts.The first part establishes the research value and significance of Bei Zi by combing and analyzing the documentation.The second part clarifies the origin and development of Bei Zi and its basic morphological characteristics.The third part studies the cultural connotation of the design of Bei Zi reflected in the pattern categories,pattern decoration and its beautiful meaning under the influence of upper aesthetic appreciation.The fourth part studies the influence of the developed textile economy in the Song Dynasty on the material types of Bei Zi,the organizational structure of the fabric and the decoration craft.The fifth part probes into the social customs of Song Dynasty reflected in the wearing and living scene of Bei Zi.The sixth part analyses the design factors of Bei Zi’s wide use of circulate and its enlightenment to modern times from the perspective of design.From the design point of view,the generation and development of Bei Zi,is not only a change of clothing system,but also focus on the politics,economy,life style,many factors such as the development of science and technology achievements,it is the system of the song dynasty special pattern,unique fashion taste,and the developed economic level,make the Bei Zi this particular form of clothing system.
