The adjustment of two-stage separation density in the separation process of three-product heavy medium cyclone mainly depends on the replacement of two-stage overflow pipe and bottom outlet after the equipment stops.The research objective is to realize three-stage heavy medium cyclone by adjusting the insertion depth of two-stage overflow pipe,optimizing cone angle and adopting twostage cyclone feeding structure.In the separation process of dielectric cyclone,the two-stage separation density is adjusted on-line in a wide range.The working principle,internal flow field and structural factors affecting separation effect of heavy medium cyclone were analyzed and studied.A numerical simulation model was established during the research process.The optimum adjustment interval of the insertion depth of the central overflow tube of the two-stage cyclone was determined by numerical simulation to be L=0.6D-1.4D.The adjustment range of the insertion depth of the central overflow tube of the two-stage cyclone was well.Effectively adjusting the two-stage separation density reduces the mismatch content and improves the separation accuracy.By numerical simulation of the flow field inside the cyclone at different cone angles,the influence of cone angle on separation density is studied and analyzed.Combining with coal quality data and data analysis,optimizing the cone angle of the cyclone can significantly improve the loss of clean coal,the situation of gangue and gangue with coal.The highefficiency separation of the cyclone is realized;the feeding mode of the two-stage cyclone is studied and numerical simulation is carried out,and the optimal feeding mode is determined when the twostage cyclone feeding outlet is arranged at 180 to ensure the separation power of the two-stage cyclone,and effectively reduce the separation density,realize the accurate on-line adjustment of the two-stage separation density,and improve the separation accuracy.Combining with the experimental research,according to the fluctuation of coal quality and the requirement of the indexes of clean coal,medium coal and gangue products,especially in the separation of difficult coal and extremely difficult coal,the matching design of different structure forms is carried out to realize the efficient separation of cyclone,realize the online adjustment of the density of two-stage separation,improve the operability of equipment and adaptability of raw coal,effectively control the clean coal,medium coal and gangue.The quality of stone products improves the separation technology of refractory coal and achieves high efficiency,low cost and high benefit.Figure34;Table14;Reference 46.
