Composite materials were widely used in aircraft manufacturing due to their superior specific strength,specific modulus,process,heat resistance,corrosion resistance and fatigue resistance.The forming mold of composite material directly affected the final state and quality of composite material components,such as shape,dimension and fitting precision with other components.At the same time die making affected the whole production cycle and cost of composite materials.Combined with the requirements of enterprises,this paper conducted a study on the performance of the frame-type composite material die.The research results were as follows:This paper analyzed the four typical load and boundary conditions of the composite die in supporting,attaching,lifting and accelerating,and established the simplified finite element model of the composite die with frame.The finite element software ABAQUS was used to analyze the stress and displacement of the frame-type composite die under four typical operating conditions: normal temperature supporting,attaching,lifting and accelerating.The stiffness and strength of the mold were analyzed and verified.This method provided a more reliable method besides the empirical method to check the stiffness and strength of the frame-type composite die.The mass size of solid element and shell element and the maximum stress and displacement of them under different working conditions were analyzed.It was verified that shell element could replace solid element for finite element analysis.The dimension optimization module of finite element software ABAQUS was used to optimize the thickness dimension of the diaphragm plate of the frame-type composite die that made the weight lighter and the stiffness and strength met the check requirements.The quality of the frame-type composite die was analyzed with different spacing of the separator.At the same time,the variation trend of the maximum displacement and stress of the die under different spacing of the separator was analyzed.The result of the comprehensive analysis was obtained that on which case and which spacing size the result of was optimal.At the same time,the temperature field of these three different spacing die was analyzed.
