Due to the high strength,good corrosion resistance and high heat resistance,Titanium alloys are widely used in various fields.Many countries recognized the importance of titanium alloy materials,and have carried out research and development on them,and have been applied in practice.In this paper,firstly,the material characteristics of titanium alloy and the grinding characteristics of titanium alloy are introduced.Then the wear of grinding wheel in Grinding Titanium alloy is studied,the main wear form is adhesion wear.Based on the available data and deduction,the mathematical grinding of adhesion rate is established.According to the mathematical model of adhesion rate,the influence trend of grinding parameters on adhesion rate is determined,and the suitable grinding wheel speed and grinding depth are determined by grinding test.By studying the grinding force of titanium alloy,the influence of adhesion on the grinding force of titanium alloy is put forward,and the mathematical model under the condition of adhesion of titanium alloy is established.According to the mathematical model and grinding test,the suitable part speed is determined.By studying the grinding temperature of titanium alloy,the main factors affecting the grinding temperature are determined.Through reasonable selection of grinding wheel material and use of forced cooling device of centerless grinder,the burns of parts are effectively avoided.Based on the analysis of the related theory of the process of centerless cylindrical grinding at present,it is found that the main factors affecting roundness error are the original error and positioning error of the workpiece.By improving the quality of grinding blank,improving the accuracy of positioning tool and removing the surface redundancy of grinding wheel during processing,the roundness error of workpiece is effectively reduced.Finally,the grinding theory of titanium alloy and the circle theory of centerless grinding are applied to the actual processing of the factory,and the problems in the process of centerless grinding of titanium alloy parts are successfully solved.
