In the grinding process,the diamond grinding wheel topography directly affects the removal mode of the workpiece surface material and surface quality of the workpiece,directly determines the grinding performance of the grinding wheel in the grinding process.Therefore,the precise measurement of grinding wheel topography and accurate evaluation of the grinding performance is of the great significance of the reasonable selection of a grinding wheel and the improvement of quality and efficiency in hard brittle materials grinding process.In order to meet the requirements of the diamond grinding wheel topography measurement and evaluation,in this paper,a reliable grinding wheel topography measurement based on shape from focus is proposed.On the basis of research on key technology of image processing and the evaluation of the grinding wheel topography,a grinding wheel topography measurement system is built.Finally,a stable and efficient three-dimensional reconstruction of the grinding wheel topography is realized.1.According to the characteristic of the diamond grinding wheel topography and the evaluation requirement of the grinding performance,a reliable grinding wheel topography measurement based on shape from focus is proposed in this paper.A grinding wheel topography measurement system is built.Finally,high quality grinding wheel image sequence is captured and the measurement of grinding wheel topography is realized.2.The best image denoising algorithm is selected according to the noise level estimation result of the grinding wheel image sequence.The image quality of the grinding wheel image sequence is improved by image preprocessing and image enhancement.A new sharpness function based on gray level difference and image sequence is proposed.The experimental results show that compare with traditional sharpness functions,it is indicated that the proposed sharpness function has high computational efficiency and accuracy,better unimodal and contrast,and is more suitable for the sharpness evaluation curve measurement of the grinding wheel image sequence.3.An improved Gaussian interpolation algorithm is proposed,which used to obtain the best focusing position of image points in grinding wheel image sequence.The accuracy and efficiency of the grinding wheel topography characterize measurement is greatly increased by improving the fitting model and fitting method of the sharpness evaluation curve.On this basis,the three-dimensional reconstruction of grinding wheel topography is realized.4.According to the characterization of grinding wheel topography,a grinding wheel evaluation parameter system is built.The improved three-dimensional Gaussian filter evaluation method is used to separate the grinding wheel topography features.Finally,the measurement of the evaluation parameters and the evaluation of the grinding wheel are realized.
