Valeraldehyde,as organic compound,is a colourless,permeable liquid with special fragrance.Because valeraldehyde has a wide application as an intermediate of chemical product,it has important industrial value on the domestic and international market.In general,through hydrogenation or oxidation,pentanol and pentanoic acid can be synthesized from valeraldehyde respectively.They can be further used as raw materials to produce the intermediates of coatings,pesticides or pharmaceutical,leather and so on.At the same time,valeraldehyde is good solvent,and it can synthesize spices and plasticizer as raw materials.Through the study of the mechanism of hydroformylation of olefin and the analysis of the kinetic experimental data of the hydroformylation of 1-butene,a suitable kinetic model was constructed.The parameters of kinetic equation are obtained by regression calculation with Matlab software,and it can further get the complete kinetic equation of the hydroformylation of 1-butene and the empirical equation of the normal/isomeric ratio of product.Through the numerical statistical analysis and evaluation of the kinetic equation,it is verified that its regression accuracy and fitting effect are pretty good.On the basis of the acquired kinetic equation of hydroformylation of 1-butene,the process of valeraldehyde synthesis was simulated by use of Process Simulation Software Aspen Plus,and a custom kinetic model with Fortran Programming Software for the hydroformylation of 1-butene was used to the reactor simulation.By comparing the simulated results and the actual industrial operation value,it is found that the calculated results of main equipment and the main streams are very close to the industrial operation value,which shows that the developed simulation programe can be well used for the process simulation of valeraldehyde production by hydroformylation of 1-butene.Finally,the process parameters of the reactor are optimized by simulation calculation,and the reaserch work provides a basic data for the improvement of the industrial production process.
