Study On Compatibility Of SBS And Asphalt And Optimization Of Modification Process

From the point of SBS structure and base asphalt type,this work investigated and analyzed the influence by compatibility between SBS and base asphalt on the properties of modified asphalt.And also optimized the formula of modified asphalt and modification process.The results indicated that:S/B(mass percentage)of SBS modifier has significant impact on compatibility between asphalt and modifier,thus further influence properties of modified asphalt and modification process.By the increasing of S/B,the compatibility of SBS and asphalt decreases as well as the ductility of SBS modified asphalt,also mixing time of 48 h seperation specification and the production cycle of SBS modified asphalt extends.Based on the comparative study for the compatibility of YH791-H,LG501 S,YH796 and QD505 S modifiers with asphalt,this work obtained the optimized formula and modification process of QD505S-based SBS modified asphalt.Compatibility between asphalt and SBS is closely related to each component contents of base asphalt.By increasing of aromaticity contents and decreasing of component index lc,compatibility,ductility and soften point increases,mixing time of 48 h seperation specification and production cycle of SBS modified asphalt decreases.Considering comparative study of five base asphalt for SBS modified asphalt,this work selected Shuanglong asphalt as the best crude product for SBS modified asphalt.And investigated to obtain the most suitable proportion of Shuanglong and Suizhong asphalt,furthermore the optimized formula modification process based on Shuanglong asphalt,mixed Shuanglong and Suizhong asphalt,respectively.
