Single point incremental forming is a new dieless sheet metal plastic forming technology which possess advantages such as high flexibility,low cost,rapid prototyping,sm all forming force etc,makes up the insufficient of the traditional pressure forming such as high cost,poor flexibility and other issues effectively.So improve the forming precision and danmpen forming defects is currently the argent problems,which have important theoretical and practical significance.In this paper,the forming force and the reasons of forming error in single point increm ental forming process are investigated,then using AB AQU S/Explic it and ABAQUS/Standard to simulate the forming process and springback defect of 1060 pure aluminum alloy sheet and measuring the forming accuracy by using the view profile method,the influence law of process parameters such as tool head diameter,layer step,feed rate,formin,g angle and thickness of sheet metal are analyzed,the experimental data are fitted by regression method to fit the empirical formula,the empirical formula to predict forming error is fitted by using regression and the optimal empirical formula which is determined by analyzing the significance of reg ression.The single point incremental forming experim ent is carried out_,and the forming process path trajectory is simulated using UG software,importing the generated G code into the HASS-VF machining center for forming,the forming accuracy and thickness of sheet metal are measured using three-coordinate measuring and so orn,the relationship is obtained of forming precision and process parameters such as tool head diameter,layer step,feed rate,forming angle and the thickness of sheet metal thus the correctness of finite element simulation results is verified,optimal forming error empirical formula is determined using comp'rehensive analysis of the experimental data and regression of significance.Combining simulation and experimental date to study the influence of forming trajectory and tool head rotation velocity on forming accuracy,and to obtain the optimum forming path and tool head rotation speed error compensation method was put forward,to correct and compensate forming geometric model by forming error value predicted to improve the forming accuracy.Experimental results show that the forming accuracy of compensation increased more than 70%and to develop the optimal forming process route,which improves the precision of single point incremental forming reference value.
