Research On The Influence Of Industrial Structure On China’s Service Industry Carbon Productivity

Global warming has become an indisputable fact.The melting of glaciers,the increasing emissions of carbon dioxide and related pollutants,threatening the survival and safety of human beings,protecting the environment,and maintaining global environmental security and economic sustainable development have become common global issues.Since China’s reform and opening up,the pace of economic development has gradually accelerated.There are many high-speed developments in the economy at the expense of the environment.This unreasonable economic growth model has also enabled domestic scholars to achieve green growth in all walks of life.It has aroused attention.In recent years,the service industry has developed rapidly and has become an important engine for stimulating China’s economic growth.The service industry has also experienced environmental pollution in the process of rapid development.The traditional concept is regarded as the “green economy” service industry development.Not green.Therefore,based on the measurement of the carbon productivity of the service industry,this paper explores the mechanism of the impact of industrial structure on the carbon productivity of the service industry.This paper reviews the relevant literature and finds that the existing research mainly focuses on two aspects,one is the measurement of carbon productivity in the service industry,and the other is the comparison between the service industry carbon productivity regions and the sub-sectors,and few from the industry.This influencing factor of structure is used to explore the mechanism of industrial structure affecting the carbon productivity of service industry.Therefore,the purpose of this paper is to use the industrial structure as an independent variable in the context of the rapid development of the current service industry,to measure the carbon productivity of China’s service industry and use it as a dependent variable,and to select the energy use efficiency as a mediator to explore the industrial structure and service carbon.The mechanism of productivity,and a comparison at the national level and sub-region,to propose corresponding improvements for the green sustainable development of the service industry and the development of the sub-region.The innovations of this paper mainly focus on(1)establishing the mechanism of industrial structure affecting the carbon productivity of service industry,exploring the impact of industrial structure on service industry carbon productivity in the whole country and sub-region;(2)introducing the mediation effect model into service industry carbon In the productivity-related research,the theory and application of the mediation effect model are enriched.The empirical results show that the industrial structure will have a partial mediation effect on the carbon productivity of the service industry through energy use efficiency at the national level.At the regional level,the mediation effect of the eastern and central regions is not significant,and the industrial structure in the western region is served through energy efficiency.Industrial carbon productivity produces a complete intermediary.Therefore,all regions should pay attention to the actual situation of the region while developing the local service industry.They should not blindly develop the service industry across the board,but should rationally develop the service industry according to local conditions,thereby improving the carbon productivity of the service industry.
