The Traditional Architectural Style Jewelery Design Based On Product Symbol Study

Nowadays,with the increasing demand of the diversity of jewelry from modern citizens,more and more international jewelry brands and celebrated jewelry designers expand their sight to various fields to capture new design inspiration.While due to the natural advantage of combination of technology and art,the architectural elements take the lead in this "cross-border" cooperation with jewelry design in Western countries.Therefore,a large number of outstanding architectural themes jewelry come into being.Within these excellent jewelry works,the vast majority of them are inspired by the landmarks in Western countries,and blending the structure of buildings in a specific way.In this process,by studying the symbolic modeling of jewelry design elements,I explore the jewelry design which has a basic symbolic nature.Through literature research on the existing fine jewelry works,found that they are often from the West some of the landmark building to draw the implied symbol nature,these symbols which include identification,narrative and symbolic The cultural concept,and the building symbolic language into the jewelry design came into being.In contrast,China’s jewelry design and traditional Chinese architectural elements of the combination of examples are rare.In this context,the author germinated the traditional Chinese architectural elements and modern jewelry integration of research proposition as the direction of this thesis thesis.As a creative point in this paper,the author first carries out the research on the material of the previous research through the method of literature study.By studying a large number of historical documents and graphic symbols about traditional Chinese architecture,the author aims to extract the traditional architecture in the layout,material,structure and color.And to explore the possibility of using these features in the field of jewelry design.Secondly,the quantitative research is carried out through the methods of experiment,questionnaire and design verification.The generalized research method of product semiotics is used to quantitatively analyze the constitutive ways of the traditional architectural symbol,and then propose the replicability of symbolic elements Design process design,and emphasizes the symbolic elements of jewelry design modeling should be consistent with the jewelry symbol elements of unity.The author also studied and contrasted the design method of jewelry design in the field of jewelry between the East and the West,and tried to summarize the design method which is more suitable for oriental aesthetic and cultural connotation.In the application of this article,I will select the window lattice symbols as a traditional Chinese architecture and jewelry design with the entry point,and on the basis of the modern jewelry design methods,and ultimately show my design work.Why choose the elements of the window lattice jewelry design as a starting point?The main reasons are as follows:1,in the traditional Chinese building materials classification,wood component building occupies a high proportion of window lattice has experienced a long process of development,so the study of its development process has the breadth of time,Chinese traditional architectural system has a certain representation;2,window lattice element is the ancestors of wisdom and aesthetic excellence,not only in line with the mechanical structure of the functional requirements of stability,but also has a high aesthetic and decorative value,in the combination of technology and art On the perfect unity;3,the lattice elements of the pattern composition method is very typical,the composition of these patterns and processing methods will provide a rich source of inspiration for jewelry design.Through the study of this subject,I believe can be harvested for jewelry design innovation fusion experience and insights.Innovative value of jewelry design,excellent jewelry works in addition to materials and processes to achieve the basic level,with research value of the quantitative analysis process,exquisite design topics and unique expression is also a crucial highlight factor.Jewelry design and traditional architectural design elements of the innovative combination is such a highlight as well.
