The hydroplaning on wet runways is a major threat to landing safety.As one of the main parts of hydroplaning,the rough water film formed on runways in rainy day greatly affects the anti-skid performance of aircraft.Therefore,the roughness of the runway will affect the safety of landing in bad weather.Aiming at this problem,theoretical analysis and finite element modeling method are used by "two steps" to study: In the first step,based on the maximum number of fluctuating pavement single ups and downs,tire-water-rough pavement refinement model within a small area is established,and the effects of pavement roughness on tire braking performance and critical hydroplaning speed is researched;In the second step,according to the braking performance of the rough pavement,the kinematics calculation model of the braking distance of aircraft with a total runway based on the international roughness index IRI is established,and the influence of pavement roughness on the braking distance of aircraft in bad weather is researched.The main research contents are as follows:1)The interaction of tire-water film-pavement on wet runway is analyzed,and the critical hydroplaning theoretical model of tire on rough pavement is established based on the hydrodynamic momentum theorem,and the model is used to analyze the critical hydroplaning speed of the tire with rough pavement under different water thickness and aircraft types.2)Using ABAQUS finite element software,the maximum fluctuating on 3M feet pavement is used as the evaluation index of pavement roughness.The tire-water film-rough pavement interaction finite element mode is established by selecting the mainstream passenger aircraft in China,and the rationality of the model is verified.3)The landing process and the change of stress state during landing are analyzed,and the influence of lift on the calculation of critical tire hydroplaning velocity is analyzed by using the interactive finite element model,which can provide reference for the selection of lift coefficient in tire hydroplaning calculation.4)The interaction mechanism of tire-water film – rough pavement is analyzed by using the tire-water film-rough pavement interaction finite element model.The effects of water film thickness,tire speed and road surface roughness on aircraft braking effect are analyzed.5)Based on the above research results,the kinematics calculation model of aircraft brake distance on wet runway based on the international smoothness index IRI is established.The influence of pavement roughness on the braking distance of aircraft on wet runway is analyzed by using the measured pavement roughness data of domestic airports.Accordingly,put forward suggestions for ensuring the safety of landing aircraft in inclement weather conditions.
