With the progress of science and technology,China's furniture manufacturing industry has developed a lot.But the environmental problems that ensued have come into the light.The shortage of wood resources has become the bottleneck of the sustainable development of China's furniture industry,and the development of substitute materials is urgently needed.Bamboo is the first choice for furniture manufacturing materials because of its strong regeneration ability,short production cycle and rapid growth.China is rich in bamboo resources,but the development of bamboo furniture industry is not quite balanced.There are many problems such as limited range of usage,few product type,old-fashioned design and low user acceptance.Dig deep into the problem we find the main reason is the lack of innovation and creativity.In the age of the big data era,with the development of science and technology and the individual demand of users,people are more and more interested in furniture with creativity.Therefore,the furniture innovation design is increasingly important to the industry.Constantly pushing out the new,and well-designed the furniture with originality and can establish an unbeaten place in the competition.So,how to fully develop the potential market of bamboo furniture,increase the additive value of the bamboo furniture design,making bamboo furniture people's first choice when they have the need,is the No.1 concern for the designers today.This paper is based on KANO user demand model and TRIZ technical contradiction matrix of bamboo furniture innovation design research.KANO is the design tool to guide the customer's needs as the sole guiding ideology.TRIZ is the important theoretical foundation for realizing furniture innovation.The combination of both realizes the innovation design of bamboo furniture and meets customer demand.The details are as follows:(1)Taking the development status of bamboo furniture in Sichuan area as the research object,conducting field research to understand the specific status of bamboo furniture development and the design problems that need to be solved urgently.(2)Through the survey,understand of the different demand for bamboo furniture in different geographical area,according to KANO user requirement model and user requirement analysis,conclude bamboo furniture user's 18 indexes.(3)Converts bamboo furniture user 18 indexes to 39 general engineering parameters of TRIZ theory and converted to optimize the 10 parameters:12 shapes,the strength of 14,38 degree of automation,30 and object of harmful factors,and the complexity of the control and measurement,the stability of the 13 objects,32 manufacturability,35 adaptability and versatility,the convenience of operation process,and maintainability.It also analyzes the deterioration parameters in the furniture design process with three items: the volume of the stationary object,the stability of the 13 objects,and the 12 shape.(4)According to the optimization parameters and the deterioration parameters,the TRIZ technical contradiction matrix table was used to obtain 30 innovative principles that can be applied to the innovation design of bamboo furniture.(5)Will apply to the principle of 30 innovation of bamboo furniture design,the application in the "deer wood" series of bamboo furniture,the purpose is to test KANO user requirement model and the applicability of the principle of TRIZ innovation in bamboo furniture design.(6)Carry out the post-design research,verify that the overall design of bamboo furniture has been improved,and the user satisfaction has been improved.Hope that through this research and the innovation of the design practice can give bamboo furniture design and research to provide certain reference data and design inspiration,also hope that China can get better and faster development of bamboo furniture design.
