Intelligent manufacturing has become the current research hotspot as the development direction of a new generation of manufacturing systems.CNC machine tools are the most important equipments in discrete manufacturing enterprises,so the data acquisition and monitoring of CNC machine tools are essential components of intelligent manufacturing workshops.It is of great significance for improving enterprise production efficiency and eliminating information islands.In order to solve the problems existing in the data acquisition and monitoring of CNC machine tools in the manufacturing workshop,a CNC machine tool data acquisition and monitoring system has been studied and developed in this paper:(1)According to the system requirements,the machine data acquisition method and the system network connection method are determined.The data acquisition and monitoring system framework and function modules are designed,and the key technologies of the system are proposed.(2)The data acquisition and storage functions of CNC machine tools are studied.Based on the MTConnect protocol,a device information model is established,and a data acquisition method based on FOCAS is proposed.The data acquisition adapter and client of the system are developed,and the system database is designed.The data acquisition and storage management of CNC machine tools are realized.(3)The CNC machining task monitoring function of workshop is studied.The Petri net model of NC machining task in the workshop is established.A calculation method of NC Program machining time basd on the program analysis is carried out.Based on the machine fault history information,the machine preventive maintenance period of the machine tool is determined,and the time prediction of the machining task is realized.A task progress monitoring method based on the real-time workshop information is proposed to realize the monitoring of task completion progress and remaining time.(4)Based on the VS2013,Qt and SQL Server2012,a prototype system for data acquisition and monitoring of CNC machine tools is developed.The system has been verified in the workshop and the effectiveness of the system has been proved.
