PLC-Based Flocculant Automatic Preparation System Design

With the increasing shortage of water resources and the increasingly severe situation of environmental protection,the clarification of slurry water has become an indispensable process for a tailings separation enterprise,and the clarification of water treatment is directly related to the quality of concentrate,thus affecting economic benefits.The use of polymer polyacrylamide(PAM)flocculant is one of the effective auxiliary means to clarify slurry water.Traditional manual preparation and flocculant addition can no longer meet the production needs under the new form.Therefore,it is necessary to research and develop automatic flocculant preparation and addition system according to the actual situation of slurry water clarification treatment in mineral dressing enterprises in China.Taking the flocculant station construction of the tailings separation enterprise in PanZhiHua as the background,the automatic flocculant preparation process control and adding system control of flocculant solution as the research object,the automatic flocculant preparation process and adding process were designed,and the control mode was determined.(1)In this paper,the dissolving property of flocculant was explained,the characteristics of flocculant preparation system at home and abroad were analyzed,and the dissolving and preparation technology of flocculant using self-circulation dispersion of pre-dispersing solution of flocculant was adopted.The process control parameters were determined by laboratory experiments,and the control system was selected.Meanwhile the process control parameters and the selection of flocculant solution preparation equipment were determined.(2)The problem of liquid level in water tank during solution preparation was studied.PID control is adopted for the dosing system.The hardware and software design of flocculant automatic preparation system,PLC selection of control system,electrical schematic diagram and PLC peripheral wiring diagram of the whole system are completed.On this basis,I / O address of PLC control system is determined and PLC control program is designed.According to the actual production control requirements of the enterprise,the corresponding man-machine interaction system is designed.Finally,the feasibility of the design is verified through the practical application of the designed automatic flocculant preparation system.
