A Cleaner Production Audit Case Study In A Printing And Dyeing Industry

The production process of printing and dyeing industry is complex.The process produced more waste than some other industries and the waste water produced was more difficult to treat.Meantime,the government promulgated more and more strict environmental policies,especially energy saving and emission reduction indicators.The "printing and dyeing industry access conditions",revised in 2010,put forward higher and more stringent requirements on the industry.The indicators included the pollution of the printing and dyeing industry,waste emissions,and energy consumption and so on.Printing and dyeing enterprises need structural adjustment,and must eliminate backward technology and equipment,process technology and production capacity.Cleaner production is one of the environmental strategies of China and is the only way for printing and dyeing industry to achieve the aim of escalation and sustainable development.In order to change the long-term end-treatment situation of printing and dyeing industry,this paper would summarize the status of domestic and foreign clean production of printing and dyeing industry and analyze the need for cleaner production of the industry combined with industrial policy analysis of printing and dyeing industry.We used mechanism and methods of cleaner production,introduced the cleaner production audit of an enterprise from Zaozhuang City,Shandong Province.We introduced general cleaner production audit procedures and intensive procedures,found the cleaner production potential from the eight aspects of the process of printing and dyeing industry and suggested preliminary cleaner production options.This thesis offered new methods and technology from cleaner production in order to change the end-of-pipe treatment in printing and dyeing industry;offered cleaner production technology for the industry,and promote the sustainable development of the printing &dyeing factories.
