Study On Synthesis And Application Of Emulsifier For Micro-Surfacing

Micro-surfacing is considered to be one of the most economical and effective ways of repairing road rutting and other pavement diseases.The core technology of the micro-surfacing is the emulsifier.This paper systematically studies and developes emulsifier suitable for CNOOC 36-1 asphalt to prepare emulsified asphalt with stable quality and meeting the requirements of JTG F40-2004,Also the road performance verification was carried out.The test results show that based on the molecular structure design,organic acid S3 and organic amine A3 are used as raw materials,and the molar ratio of acid amine is 1: 1.1 mixed with R2 as solvent and reflux reaction at 145 ? for 3.5 hours.After solvent removal,the temperature should be raised to 240 ?,The reaction is carried out under reduced pressure to a degree of vacuum of 0.092 MPa for 4 hours to prepare an imidazoline type asphalt emulsifier.And the structure of the target product was confirmed by infrared spectroscopy.Using CNOOC 36-1 asphalt,self-made emulsifier as raw materials,the prepared emulsified asphalt meets the relevant technical requirements of JTG F40-2004.Also through conducting a pilot test and industrial production,there was no amplification effect.The percentages of the added material are: asphalt 60,soap 40,self-made emulsifier MIC 1.5,latex 3.0.Industrial hydrochloric acid added to the soap pH 2.0.The process of preparing the emulsified asphalt is: when the asphalt which is heated to 130? and the soap which is heated to 55? mixed through the mill,the mixture cooled quickly to room temperature is MIC.The performance evaluation of the emulsified asphalt mixture for micro-surfacing and the test road indicates that the emulsifier MIC have good application effect.
