Rare earth elements enjoy the reputation of"industrial vitamins"and"industrial gold"and are widely used in chemical industry, electronics, medicine and other fields. However, the unreasonable exploitation and utilization of rare earth resources has destroyed the ecological environment. At the same time, rare earth ions can also be transmitted through the food chain to harm human health. Therefore,it is necessary to separate and recover rare earth ions.Rare earth ions can be separated by adsorption method, but the adsorption capacity of traditional adsorbents is low.Graphene and its composites have attracted wide attention due to their strong adsorption performance. However, there are some problems such as easy accumulation of graphene sheets, high synthesis cost and difficult recovery. Therefore,a three-dimensional structure of graphene is considered to solve the problem of easy accumulation of graphene, and appropriate complex is introduced to modify the adsorption material. In this study,a low-cost,highly adsorbable and recyclable 3D magnetic graphene/zeolite material was designed and constructed by combining low-cost zeolite, graphene and ferric oxide. The adsorbability of the material to La?III?was investigated, and the adsorption mechanism was preliminarily discussed. At the same time, the actual water samples from a certain place in Jiangxi Province were collected, and the adsorption effect of 3D magnetic graphene/zeolite materials on rare earth ions in the water samples was investigated, and the feasibility of its practical application was evaluated. The main research work is as follows:?1?Three-dimensional magnetic graphene/zeolite material was successfully prepared by one-step hydrothermal reduction. The micro-morphology analysis showed that the material was composed of zeolite loaded on graphene nanosheets and Fe3O4nanoparticles,and had internal cross-linking structure.?2?By investigating the effects of different mass ratios of ferric chloride and zeolite, the original concentration of La?III?,time and pH value on the adsorption properties of the materials,it is shown that the prepared graphene-loaded zeolite and ferric oxide composite materials have excellent adsorption properties for La?III?.The optimum mass ratio of ferric chloride and zeolite is 28:15,and the equilibrium concentration and time are 120 mg/g,respectively.The maximum adsorption capacity of La?III?on the composite is 478.47 mg/g at the optimum pH of 6 and 24 h,and the introduction of Fe3O4 provides the possibility of magnetic recovery of the material. After five cycles of experiments, the maximum adsorption loss of La?III?on the composite is less than 7%,which indicates that the material has good recyclability. The actual wastewater adsorption test shows that the material can adsorb La?III?in the actual wastewater with a removal rate of 63%,which shows that the material has good practical application potential as adsorbent.
