Wear-resisting steel ball,also known as the wear-resisting medium for grinding machine,is mainly used for grinding materials to make them finer.It is widely used in mining,power plant,cement factory,steel plant,silicon sand factory and coal chemical industry.The annual usage amount of wear-resisting steel ball in the world is 30 ~ 50 million tons and the usage amount of our country is about 3 ~ 5 million tons,it is one of the countries in the world that use more.At present,the steel ball of Panxi area,whether produced or used,belongs to low-end steel ball with poor quality.Therefore,it is of great significance to research and develop high performance wear-resistant steel balls and realize the industrialization production of high performance wear-resistant steel balls.In order to increase the profitability of the company,the company decided to build a production line to produce wear-resistant steel balls to fill the gap in the market of Panxi.In order to make full use of the vanadium bearing advantage of Pangang steel,it is proposed to use U75 V steel as the raw material for forging the wear-resistant steel ball production process.In order to make the wear-resistant steel ball reach the higher mechanical performance index,the technology of producing wear-resistant steel ball with U75 V steel as raw material was tested and explored in this paper.The main contents are as follows:1.Through the construction of pilot line,with U75 V steel grades of raw materials production process experimental exploration of wear-resistant steel ball,master steel heat treatment process as well as to the influencing factors and regularity of hardness,impact toughness,to determine the grade U75 V steel as raw materials in the production of high-performance wear-resistant steel ball more stable process parameters.2.Prepare the construction scale of 20,000 t /a production line through the standard market demand.According to the test results,the equipment demand is matched according to the construction scale and the capacity analysis for the equipment.Improve the main production equipment,supporting the public and auxiliary facilities,and finally form the wear-resistant steel ball production line construction program.3.In response to the back of U75 V inadequate raw materials or user raise product standards,and so on and so forth when required,the company in line after the completion of the preliminary and two rounds of U75V-Cr,SS grade of steel as raw materials for the production of wear-resistant steel ball production process test research,master the heat treatment process as well as to the hardness of the steel ball,the influential factors of the impact toughness and the rule.4.Finally,the research results are summarized and the benefits of the project to the company and the society are analyzed.
