This thesis is based on the database and OPC technology with the programming language of C#to develop a MES system for B5A gearbox assembly line in Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 environment.The thesis is on the basis of the actual research of production line,combined with the actual needs of production and established the overall flow of the system and the main function modules,the thesis has collected and stored data of production lines with SQL Server2008 database,the design of database has been completed according to the acquisition of data types and data structures,the design of the system architecture has been finished according to the actual production process needs and the definition of the data transmission system.The system's interface design and the preparation of the code is depending on the operating processes and functions.MES system thesis developed B5A gearbox production line is divided into four modules,including:marking and on-line modules,the axle shaft assembly line and module assembly offline packaged modules,repair modules.The development of the system has passed the test in actual production line and the results showed that:the system functionality meets the needs of field production and makes the assembly operations comfortably and efficiently.The system has been actually used in a gearbox assembly line and has achieved a variety of automatic matching models in gearbox assembly processes,and has satisfied the purpose of mixed production line currently.Qualified products could come off the production line normally,the unqualified products could rework during operation to make the assembly processes more intelligent,the system has improved production efficiency and product quality.
