According to the International Energy Agency,the city development is one of the important sources of CO2 emissions growth.Therefore,how to make the city development with eco-low carbon has become increasingly concern in the international community issues.At present,our country is in the high-speed development stage of urbanization.How to reduce carbon emissions while promoting economic development and realize the harmonious and sustainable development between man and nature has become a problem to be solved.In 2010,Tianjin became one of the first batch of national low carbon pilot cities,which indicates that Tianjin will regard low-carbon city construction as one of the important tasks to achieve the goal of carbon reduction and emission reduction.How to promote economic development,improve regional ecological quality and livable level,reduce energy consumption pollution and achieve sustainable development in this context has become an increasingly concerned issue.How to build an evaluation system for eco–low carbon city construction and evaluate its low carbon eco-city construction level,to promote the eco-low carbon development,is becoming more and more important.Based on clear definition and relevant literature review,this thesis uses principal component analysis and entropy weight method to evaluate the eoc-low carbon development level of Tianjin from four aspects:economic development,energy utilization,environmental optimization and ecological sustainability.It is found that the eco-low carbon urban development level of Tianjin increases.Compared with ten years ago,the eco-low carbon development of Tianjin has made obvious progress.Especially in the aspects of economic development and ecological sustainable construction,they promote the level of the overall eco-low carbon urban development,and the contribution rate of the evaluation index to the eco-low carbon urban development level of Tianjin is also important in the human settlements environment and energy efficiency.On this basis,combined with the current state of eco-low carbon development in Tianjin,this thesis proposes suggestions to further promote the level of eco-low carbon of Tianjin for the sustainable development.
