At present,the DC PWM(Pulse Width Modulation)chopper speed control mode which has the advantages of simple way depending on the chopping speed regulation,stable starting,speed wide and smooth,comprehensive protection function,is used by most coal mine enterprises in the speed regulation and transportation of the mine electric locomotive.However,the motor vehicle speed control system mostly adopts the motor series of driving,with timing performance,poor anti-interference ability,the electrical characteristics of soft coal roadway in long-term control during its running,but not at the same time have a good starting performance,speed performance and dynamic performance.Therefore,performance improvement of mine DC motor vehicle speed regulating system and the control system under different excitation chopper PWM DC locomotives,research to explore the excitation mode is more suitable for DC locomotives operating conditions is an indispensable and important meaning.In this paper,the existing system has bean redesigned and optimization,including the H bridge circuit main circuit adopts IGBT to control the motor;PWM wave is generated by using single chip microcomputer instead of the original analog chip.;set up multiple isolated protection and fault protection,the improvements make the system more perfect,anti interference enhance the ability of small volume and low energy consumption,and prolong the service life and the speed performance has been further improved.In this paper,the principle of PWM chopper speed regulation is analyzed in detail,and the comparison and analysis of the working characteristics of three kinds of DC motor under excitation,shunt excitation and series excitation are compared and analyzed.Secondly,the establishment of a dc PWM speed control system simulation model,and combining the mine dc locomotive running conditions,in the performance of the three different excitation modes(including startup performance,high performance,dynamic performance)has carried on the simulation analysis,explores the more suitable for mine dc excitation mode of locomotive operating conditions;Finally,the software and hardware design of the new DC PWM speed control system is described in detail,and the experimental platform is built,and verified by experiments,it shows that the whole speed control system is stable,feasible,practical and the correctness of the research results.
