Foundry is an indispensable part of machinery manufacturing industry,in which sand mold casting produces plenty of used sand,which brings great harm to the environment.With the rapid development of the foundry industry,green casting has gradually become the current development goal.How to realize the low cost and high quality reclamation of used foundry sand plays a key role in the green casting.At present,the reclamation methods of used sand are widely used in sand mold casting,such as dry reclamation,wet reclamation,thermal reclamation,chemical reclamation,etc.Among which wet reclamation has the advantages of high de-skinning rate,good quality of reclaimed sand,wide adaptability,which is an ideal method.But the current wet reclamation equipment common problems such as complicated structure,large water consumption.In order to simplify the existing wet reclamation equipment,and to achieve low water consumption,high reclamation de-skinning rate,This paper designed a roll-type wet reclamation equipment,the equipment has simple structure,low water consumption and good quality of reclaimed sand,and has the advantages of high degree of automation.This paper mainly includes the following aspects:A newly designed and developed roller-type integrated equipment for wet reclamation and dehydration of used sand was adopted,the effects of different process parameters on the reclamation de-skinning rate of the used sand were studied.The research results shown that the de-skinning rate of the reclaimed sand firstly increased and then decreased with the increase of the reclamation rotational speed,the increase of sand-water ratio could decreased the de-skinning rate,the increase of reclamation time,dehydration time,reclamation times could increase the de-skinning rate.The process parameters were optimized by orthogonal experiment: The order of influence on the de-skinning rate is reclamation rotational speed,sand-water ratio and reclamation time.70% of water consumption,15 min of reclamation time,112 r/min of reclamation rotational speed,the de-skinning rate can reach 81.6%,can obtain a good effect of reclamation.Combined with the structure characteristics of the roller-type equipment for wetreclamation and the reclamation process,the existing wet reclamation equipment was modified.The "4 t/h roller-type wet reclamation equipment" was put forward,and the hardware and software scheme were designed,and then completed the selection of the equipment type,designed the various components and assembly drawings.The hardware scheme of the equipment system mainly includes sand inlet and sand outlet unit,reclamation and dehydration unit,fixed and supporting unit,control and transmission unit,etc.MATLAB simulation software was used to test the equipment system software program.The MATLAB simulation results shown that it could run normally,which is consistent with the process flow in logic,and the design scheme is reasonable.
