The frame and upper beam are the key parts of extruder,and the frame of extruder is the most basic structure to bear extrusion force.The main frame of existing extruder is beam column composite structure.Beam-column structure refers to the structure of the front and rear beams connected by tension columns.Cylindrical tension columns are the majority of the structures,which is mainly used in horizontal extrusion press.The neck of tension column thread connection is a weak link,which is often easily destroyed.The integral frame is to cast or weld the working beam,the lower beam and both sides of the column into a whole.This paper presents a basic design scheme of the 6MN integral frame vertical extruder.The frame adopts the vertical structure,and the frame adopts the integral cast steel structure,of which the bending resistance is good.The column section is made of rectangular section,and its section is usually hollow box structure,making it easy to install adjustable steering device.Based on travel and cost analysis,the hydraulic cylinder adopts plunger structure,so as to install electrical control elements and hydraulic components in both sides of the space.In this paper,the body structure of the extruder is designed,and the relevant parameters of the main working cylinder,main return cylinder and perforated cylinder are designed and calculated.The PRO/E software is used to build the solid model of the extruder including the upper beam,the integral frame,the main working cylinder,the main return cylinder and the hydraulic perforated cylinder.The finite element model was established by finite element analysis software ABAQUS.The finite element simulation was carried out on the upper beam and the integral frame by direct loading method,and the strength was checked.Furthermore,the modal analysis of the monolithic frame structure is carried out to obtain the first ten natural frequencies of the monolithic frame and their corresponding modes and deformation trends,which provides an effective reference for optimizing the overall frame structure.Theoretical calculations and simulation results show that the strength and stiffness of the upper beam and the integral frame are both satisfactory under the maximum working load.The 6MN integral rack vertical extruder designed in this paper can provide a reference for the design of compact large tonnage extruder.
