Deep-water drilling risers are vital marine equipment for deep-sea,ultra-deep-sea drilling and mining operations.The riser is subjected to complicated ocean loads and the working conditions are more complicated,which will lead to the bending and migration of the riser string,and then cause the friction between the inner wall of the string and the drill string.Long-term friction and wear will have cutting effect on the wall of water-isolating pipe,which makes it thin and weak and easy to fracture.High strength friction between drill pipe and bent riser not only consumes energy,but also reduces tool life.Therefore,it is very important to reduce or eliminate the bending deformation of the riser string.Deep-water drilling riser vertical system is a theoretical means to reduce or eliminate the bending deformation of riser string.It is derived from the invention patent "vertical device for deep-water drilling riser",which was applied by researcher Li Zifeng.And the invention patent applied for by Li Zifeng et al.This system has not been formally applied to the actual working condition,which is the automatic vertical adjusting device for the deepwater drilling riser in the anti-typhoon.The main design principle is to use mechanical method to straighten the bent and deformed riser string and keep it in a vertical state.The vertical device mainly includes the inspection device of the vertical degree of the riser string,the winch system,the console,the drawing rope and the data transmission system and so on.The main research contents of this paper are as follows: on the basis of the device designed by the invention patent and combined with the work done by predecessors,the equipment is optimized to a certain extent,and a simulation experiment platform suitable for laboratory conditions is set up.A set of electromechanical measurement and control module based on STC89C52 single-chip microcomputer is designed for the experimental equipment.Electro-mechanical straightening experiments were carried out on the water isolation string with different degrees of deformation under the simulated marine environment.The experimental results are ideal,and the verticality of the riser string is detected in real time,and the verticality data collected in real time is successfully displayed on the liquid crystal display(LCD).And the main controller is used to control the winch system to realize the drawing and releasing movement of the rope,and the original design intention of basically restoring and maintaining the vertical of the riser string under the condition of varying degrees of bending is realized.At the same time,the experimental results verify the feasibility of the measurement and control module,as well as the feasibility of vertical system of deepwater drilling riser.
